Life saver
I always hated telling people that I have a gluten allergy and ruining the plans and people trying to make accommodations for me. So these are great .

Seems okay
I’m presently no-gluten preferred and waiting to find out if I’ll be up/downgraded. So I’ve been careful about my gluten consumption, but there are occasions where I know that I’ll be ingesting some or I’m unsure as to the complete ingredients. When I saw this, I was curious about whether it would help. So what did I think?Directions: I’m supposed to take 1 before a meal with gluten.Expiration date: be sure to check the date. Mine expires 06/2024, which is fast for me.Ingredients: protease blend, amylase blend, glucoamylase, cellulase, hemicellulases, beta-glucanase, xylanase, pectinase, phytase, alpha- galactosidase, lactase, lipase, maltodextrin, hypromellose.Did it help?: Sort of. I’d eaten a heavy curry meal that had gluten in it and while I would normally have quite a bit of stomach upset the next day, I felt okay. When I tried it a different time, I’m not sure there was sufficient time between taking it and consuming something that was much heavier in gluten because I ended up having a strong histamine reaction that left me quite sniffly and miserable for several hours.Overall: I haven’t had a chance to speak with my physician about them, but I like the idea of having them on hand in the event I’m eating something where I can’t verify if there’s gluten but for me, this feels like it’ll be something to keep on hand in an emergency or when I’m having a craving and refuse to ignore it.

Convenient, small capsules
I’ve tried a few different enzyme types/brands but have not been terribly consistent about them. A previous change to my diet brought out the need to add GF enzymes back in so I decided to give this one a try.The capsules are small and easy to manage if you aren’t completely unable to swallow pills. I believe them to have been beneficial for my own circumstance, and they seem to put a lot of thought into their brand and materials (even storing them in a glass bottle).I did notice that my bottle has an expiration date of this June (06/2024)—so you might want to check the dates on yours, stamped on the bottom of the bottle. If I take these with every non-GF meal I will probably use them up by then but if you anticipate a less consistent need you’ll want to look.

No son tan buenas
Realmente las compré porque soy intolerante al gluten y siempre hay algo infectado con gluten, pero no me ayudaron como deseaba. Seguiré buscando algo para ayuda de digestión del gluten

Gluten doesn't always equal gas
This review is for Mary Ruth's Gluten Relief Enzymes. I bought these since my tummy doesn’t seem to like gluten lately. I’ve been taking one capsule prior to eating gluten (as instructed on the bottle.) I seem to to have less gas after eating gluten lately. I’m kind of surprised. This seems to have quality ingredients and even comes in a glass bottle. They are vegan which is part of why I chose these. The pill size is a standard capsule and easy to swallow, especially since I only have to take one.
