Q: How meany chunks do u use and how lomg for ??

A couple of chunks every 40 minutes or so for the first few hours should give you excellent results

Q: Why can i only use these with charcoal? Couldn't i use them with kindling and firelighters to cook / smoke my food?

You could, but most kindling is made from popular or other species of woods which are not good for cooking on and could be toxic. In addition using certain firelighters use eccelerants which can taint the taste of your food, so I personally wouldn't.

Q: do you wet the wood chunks

No need to soak, they are cut into fist size chunks so burn for a long time. Just chuck them on top of the coals and they will slowly smolder. Once they turn to charcoal add another. You only need 1 or 2 chunks at time.

Q: Can these be used on a Weber genesis gas bbq?

Yes they can, use a smoker box or direct onto the grill. Make sure to soak them for a bit before you put them on.
