Excellent upgrade from stock coil springs.
From stock spring coils to this. Day and night difference. I did think this shock was adjustable via psi pump. However, it was not. Still excellent upgrade from spring coils stock rear suspension for my e-bike. I recommend

Almost right size bushings, but not quite
Using this shock as a replacement for 2002 Trek Fuel EX mountain bike.Mounting hardware was a narrower diameter -> would have raddled in the bike frame mounting locations. The bushings were about a millimeter or two wider than the original shock bushings -> tried to replace with original shock bushings. This required removing the old press-fit bushing and then machining down the old bushings to fit using a lathe. Definitely non-common tools for the job.Besides fit up of the bushings, the shock itself has been great!

Bad to the bone budget shock absorber.
Smoother ride with this shock. I replaced an old coil spring rear shock with this and it’s night and day. And it looks bad to the bone too.

Looks and works great! Perfect for Gravity FSX 29 LTD MTB
Replaced the 150mm length KS-260 (kind shock) which was an 850lbs spring. I am 6.2" and 200lbs currently and this I thought might be too stuff but actually perfect once riding. Absorbs will and keeps my butt in the seat. Oil + Coil is the way to go, if you don't need some super high end adjustable air shocks for racing downhill. For me on trails or road mix this is perfect.Great value for the $. Functions perfectly.
