Good size for small projects
Used for degassing resin & silicone, i do have a much larger vacumn chamber but sometimes its just too big! This one is great for smaller projects, works great.

1.2 litre one: Very good!
I found the product to be excellent. I bought the 1.2liter chamber and had no issues with the base poping as others have mentioned. This is probably due to it's size as I think the base did flex when a vacuum was applied but not enough or so violently as to disturb the contents.The next issue others have mentioned is the lack of washers over the silicone washers. I only hand tightened this part and I think that helped. It seemed like if I had taken a spanner to it I could have easily tightened it enough to distort the washers. With hand tightening I found that it held -1bar for at least 10 hours.Bear in mind this is all using the 1.2 litre container not sure if bigger ones might differ.

Does exactly what you need.
After looking around for a few weeks, I decided to go with BACOENG for my vacuum needs, based on the good online reviews and feedback - and I'm very glad I did. The product quality is excellent, instructions easy to understand and the aftersale service seems great so far. Have used it a few dozen times now and the lid, sometimes a worry on cheap vacuum chambers, is still perfect, which means safe. Very impressed with the item and won't hesitate to buy BACOENG again when I need to step up to a bigger chamber.

"I love it because it gets the job done so well. Ever since I started using it, I never encountered an air bubble popping up in my molds. The product is thoughtfully engineered as its design makes sure that all the air is evacuated from the silicon during the degassing process.It comes with the 5 feet rubber hose, nozzles, silicon gasket, acrylic lid, SS pot, vacuum gauge and air manifold with valves to control the air flow it also includes instructions, extra oil and a spanner for the installation of the little nozzle. Size is correct and well fit my application."

Great price but....
Great price for quality but as someone suggested to me that you need a metal washer either side of the silicon washers to increase the sealing surface area to make the vacume stay more stable for longer
