Taiwanese Jin Xuan Milk Oolong - High Mountain - Loose Leaf Tea - 200g

My first time being introduced to this tea was by another company who sells it at twice the price. Luckily I found this seller and took a chance on it being similar. I am pleased to say this is tea is delicious. When you open the packet your nose is aroused by what can only be described as a sweet popcorn like scent. Very yummy! I am experimenting with steeping times and methods and am waiting on an infuser jug I have just ordered (The kind where the infuser is in a glass container at the top and a button you press to allow the liquid to flow down to the bottom glass portion once you are happy with the color). At the moment I am using the infuser from a teapot and just letting it steep for a little (after the first rinse obviously) in a mug. Not the ideal solution until the jug arrives but it works. Steeping times vary but the first couple of steeps need to be short otherwise it can become a little bitter. I am curious about their other tea flavors now!

Meets all expectations

Very tasty Milk Oolong.

We have been using this tea the past couple of months since we bought it to give this a fair review. The smell of the tea leaves is very lovely and caramelly, the taste of the tea is very nice and smooth, I have been using this with a Ounona tea strainer where I tend to reuse the leaves for about 3-4 times (it becomes quite a weak flavour by the 4th time.) I will be doing a taste test when I open a newly bought milk oolong from East India Co to compare but so far I am quite happy with this milk Oolong tea

It is clearly an ARTIFICAL scented tea. So they even lie in the description.... Teylara just lost my trust on them...Not recommended unless you don't mind to have a strong artificial aroma to sweet milk pop-corn aroma.

Absolutely stunning milk oolong tea. I just made the second order of this item and will update this review if quality change. I also buy sometimes tea in Chinese online shops and this one is one of the best I've tried. It's more expensive than what I've bought in China (and hope the quality is more stable), but worth the money. Tea leaves look fresh and undamaged, no dust, no particles or wooden parts. I recommend this.

Good mid price tea

This tea smells delicious, and has a wonderful colour, purchased for husband who enjoys nice teas and he really enjoys making a pot of tea.
