Helly HansenUnisex Junior HH Lifa Base Layer Set

Having looked around for my son who plays football and more football, decided to try these. Now having base layers before, cheaper i must add, my lad wanted skin tight fit with matching leggings. These were reduced which did attract me as £45, which may only last a few months was a bit expensive so £27 felt alot better! My son has just turned 8 but there is not an ounce on him so i ordered the size 8 (for his age) and i was expecting to return them as i thought they would be too big. They are not exactly skin tight but just a little bit loose but with kids being different sizes...this is to be expected. I was surprised as these are perfect and he loves them!The waist is spot on which we do struggle with just because he has no bum and no waist, perfect for the lean young boy. These are also thin and very lightweight, look great so really pleased and definately worth the extra few quid!

I wish I'd listened to other reviewers who said this set is excellent apart from the sizing. My grandson is small and thin for his age so I though getting his correct age would fit fine. Regrettably, he struggles to get them on as they fit so tightly. He has worn them to watch football and says they've kept him warm.

These are superb. Light, soft, comfortable, warm, easy to wash and dry in no time! Good for skiing, hiking, horse riding, even as skins for football - if you are after something soft - but leggings are not hard wearing on the knees if you fall!

Helly Hansen thermals are always a good buy, especially for skiing, but these are WAY too small for my skinny average height 8 yr old. Def go for next size up

Recommended seller. My son is on the slim side and usually quite a small fit, but these were a perfect fit and wash very well. Might even have to get a 2nd pair

Fitted my grandson perfectly, let’s see if it fits next season of football? He’d just turned 10.
