Superb little hand pump - wouldn't be without it!
As a keen cyclist I know only too well the importance of having an ability to inflate a tyre at a moment's notice. I have sadly suffered many slow punctures over the years, often miles away in the countryside with no signal and no other way of getting home. However, having this little hand pump and a puncture repair kit will get you out of almost all situations! It is tiny enough to leave strapped to the bike frame (with an excellent clip that comes with the pump - and has an extra level of security with a velcro strap to ensure the pump doesn't pop out of the holder when going over bumps). It has adapters for both Presta and Schneider tyres. It can be useful for other applications too - e.g. inflating rugby balls / footballs with an adapter. So far it has never let me down in the past 7-8 years or so. The only slight disadvantage is that it does not have a pressure gauge, but neither do any similar products of this size. A pragmatic approach is to pump until the tyre is as hard enough to ride comfortably, and hopefully that should get you safely home where a more permanent fix can be implemented. If this review has been useful I would appreciate if you would consider clicking the "helpful" box below :)

Don't Let Its Small Size Fool You
Okay, first off, this pump doesn't come with any instructions, that sounds silly because a pump is a pump right? Wrong, you have to make a minor adjustment for this to work on a Presta or Schrader valve. Looking at the one star reviews for this pump it is obvious that the buyers never knew this, I wouldn't have either if I hadn't received an email from Geared2U and PDF file a day after the pump arrived. It is a simple enough exercise, just a case of unscrewing the end and turning a small valve around the opposite way, maybe a bit fiddly and definitely something you would want to do before going out on a long ride. I managed to scan the pdf file you receive and convert it to an image, there is also a YouTube tutorial (link is supplied after purchase in an email although performing a web search and it is easy enough to find).Mine arrived set to a Schrader type valve (the kind you find on cars and mainly mountain bikes) and changing it over was simple. The pump itself is a very solid build, hard to imagine how you could break it, for a small carry around pump it is great, I haven't bothered with the supplied bracket, it is small enough to fit in my side pocket.Don't let it's small size fool you either, I was amazed at how quickly I was able to pump my tyre up. Having increased my cycle rides to over 10 miles away from home one of these pumps along with a repair kit (or spare inner tube) and a set of tyre levers is a must.

Small and light, a bit fiddly. Converting it to Presta valve type harder than it should be.
This is fine, but for the hassle in converting it from Schrader to Presta valve types. It should have been easy, but the "stem depressor" didn't separate from the stem seal at all easily. After several attempts, I thought it was broken and was going to return it. Then, the little plastic bit came loose, could be inverted and all was well. You buy this pump because it is small and light, not because it is easy to use. I keep mine in my office draw, so I can get the tyre back up for the cycle home if I get a slow puncture. It would be fine for taking in a rucksack for the same purpose. Pumping a flat tyre is harder and more fiddly than with a "proper" pump, but then you're grateful just to have it with you.

Great little pump
When I saw the claim "the best mini pump" I simply had to try it.Thankfully I don't use mini pumps very often, managing to avoid punctures when out and about through a blend of sheer luck and lighting quick agility skills of a ninja. When I do get a puncture though, I need to rely on having a good pump.So far, I've been very impressed. Build quality is excellent, no wobble in the piston when using it, 2 tone colour is very modern and attracts complimentary looks from passers by.Also it's great for building massive forearms. Recommend pumping left handed occasionally to balance things out.For presta valves (most if not all road bikes) you have to change the adapter end round, but this takes about 48 seconds and is no problem.I paid full price for this pump, because I actually needed one. If you feel like giving me a thumbs up so I can get free stuff in the future that would be nice, but don't feel any pressure (pun most definitely intended).

Small but mighty
Having just gotten a bike and foolishly not checked its tire levels on my way out the door, I ended up doing some soul-searching on amazon shortly after, looking at reviews for the best quality bike pump. I ended up selecting this wee guy, hoping it would work as well as advertised and that it would come quickly--no need to worry though, as it arrived within two days! Not only that, but don't be fooled by its diminutive size: even my husband scoffed when I began to pump up my extremely low tire with this tiny pump. Sure enough though the little guy worked almost twice as well as old, clunky, cheap pumps I've had in the past. In no time at all I had all my tires sorted and had clipped it into a holster that attaches to the frame of a bicycle. Seriously good value for size and efficiency. A worthy investment for any cyclists!

This is a great little bike pump
All my previous experience has been with Schrader valves and my new bike has the Presta style - I've tried a couple of other pumps with little success. Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't get them to work properly (or even at all!).No problem with this pump. The switchover from Schrader to Presta is easy, and it's very straightforward to attach and lock the pump onto the value with no loss of air.The small size and short stroke mean that it takes quite a few pumps to get a reasonable amount of air into the tyre, but it's pretty easy going. The pump itself seems to be very well made, and gives the impression that it will last many years.Very happy with this purchase!

Good while it lasted
Was impressed with this until the plastic leaver snapped of at some point, don't even know when it happened. I still think the pump actually works a bit somehow. It won't be long before it hits the bin.Edit > Added 2 stars as the seller sent me with a replacement, see how it goes
