The perfect watch for wise people. Anything more is pure vanity.
The only things to survive the apocalypse will be cockroaches and Casio F-91Ws. The watch collector's watch - smart, accurate, indestructible, cheap. Does all you ever really need a watch to do. Anything more is pure vanity. Be smart - buy one, buy them all. You know it makes sense.

Excellent Value Timepiece
I have bought this same make & model of watch for something like 20 years or more, this latest (due to losing the last one on holiday) being my 4th. I did change the battery on the first (after 5 years+) but have not bothered since, as the cost of a battery was a significant % of the cost of a new watch - a bit like changing a car when the ashtray gets full!!! But up to personal choice. I had one where the rubbery strap split and broke after about 4 years- but again the cost of a strap outweighed just getting a new watch, and besides, I do not personally like to wear a watch on my wrist, just keep in my shoulder bag/trouser pocket!!! (so that one with no strap lasted me a further 3 years, before the battery died)So, if a cheap, inexpensive, accurate (20 seconds slow after 1 year) "throwaway when battery/strap broken/stopped" style of watch is what you are looking for - then in my opinion this one is a good choice.Oh - and finally, yes the light at night is not very bright (I have to also pop my reading glasses on), and the alarm is not very loud (but I find good enough as a gentle reminder for 20 seconds) - but don't a lot of people these days also have mobile/cell 'phones that do all that (and tell the time!).....so good enough as a secondary/auxiliary time piece in my view, with also handy stopwatch/time counter function.

A decent watch for a cheap price!
I have used this watch for several months now, and I can confidently say that this is a good watch for the price! The water resistance is great, it holds up to taking baths with it, and swimming with it. The timer is accurate, however i have found that the seconds go late around 1 second every two days, although i do not mind this. Its easy to read in the day time, but the light is not very good at night. It does still work though. Overall, it is a decent watch for the price.

ALWAYS FAVOURITE FOR DAILY USE
I love Casio F91-W. I loved the grey-coloured dial with black strap. The accuracy and ease of use is just sensational. It is highly waterproof resistable, durable (able to withstand accidental jolts and shocks) and works perfect. It is really a value-for-money watch and hence it's popular

Very stylish and great price
I bought this watch for my 10 year old girl. I would say that based on the strap size, it would be too big for a younger child. It looks fantastic. Very stylish and very retro at the same time. My little girl has lost her smart watch, so I was unsure how she would take to this, but she really likes it. It's fantastic in the respect it teaches the kids the 24 hour clock if necessary. Very pleased.

Iconic design, accurate timekeeping, a bargain watch
I am not really a fan of digital watches! Except this watch (or one as close to this in looks as makes no difference) was the one that I used during my military training back in 1988... As such, and purely for nostalgia and the retro styling, I bought this. When I bought my original Casio watch back in 1987-88, I think it cost more than £20-£30 (that was quite a lot of money to me then!) so it really was a no-brainer to buy this iconic slice of time-keeping design history for £10 almost 35 years later. It looks slightly incongruous next to the other more traditional watches in my collection but it does have a nostalgic hold over me!So - what do I think about this watch now?It tells the time. It does this simply, accurately and the battery seems to last forever (around 3 years so far - that's longer than one of my more 'flashy' analogue watches costing almost 30 times more from a 'good' manufacturer which seems to go through a battery a year). The display is easy to read and the back light is good enough for night time use (which beats the lume on some of my more expensive watches). It's splash-proof and quite tough - at this price point, I have no qualms about taking this watch out on hiking and cycling trips (which is another plus over some of my other watches). The design is iconic - and it looks cool, not flashy... The only thing that did shock me was that the watch did seem much smaller than I remembered but that is probably just my memory playing tricks. In short - this is a good buy - if you want a functional, iconic and accurate watch it probably can't be beaten! It certainly makes more sense than spending hundreds of pounds!
