Quite good but a little small
This HP X3000 Wireless Mouse comes complete with an AA cell and USB dongle. Installation under Windows 10 was straightforward and the mouse was soon up and running. This is a basic optical mouse with left/right hand buttons and a scroll wheel. The movement is fast and precise and you can adjust the attributes in the standard Windows Mouse Driver. My only gripe about this mouse is that it is a little small and has rather a high dome making it more akin to a portable than desktop mouse. Battery life is good at up to 12 months from a single AA battery plus you can store the dongle in the battery compartment when its not plugged in. The wireless connection is robust and the mouse is always ready unlike some wireless mice which tend to have wake up times of several seconds.

Replacement Mouse
My original order for this mouse was not received and was presumed to be lost in the post. However to the seller's credit, they eventually sent me a refund and a replacement mouse. It is smaller than the average mouse but I am very happy with it as I only have small hands, and therefore I would recommend it. Although it's mainly to be used with a laptop, I am using it with my PC, and I found it very easy to connect to my PC. Thank you to the seller for sorting it out for me.

Excellent product, excellent price
HP X3000 Wireless MouseFirstly I have never bought any computer kit other than Hewlett Packard mainly because of the reliability and durability that I have experienced with the HP products since the 1990s when I purchased my first lap top word processor and printer combo. (Which still works perfectly when needed.)My last mouse lasted for some 9 nine years at an average of 14 hours per day use. I hope that this modern version of the same item will do the same.So far, I have found it to be fit for purpose, it is comfortable, even for a left hander, works perfectly with both my desk top and laptop, seems sturdy and robust, and only takes one battery and was dirt cheap, the same item in local shops was twice the price.Amazon delivered next day...what more do you need. First class!

mini mouse taking the mickey
Not much you can say about a basic mouse from a technical perspective - couple of observations from me - it's much smaller than a standard mouse - about 2/3rds the size - this is definately in the "travel mouse" size range. If you have larger hands you have to be careful not to start clenching you hand up to be able to hold it and click etc. - it could lead to strain after long periods.Other observaton is that default use (on W10) is super fast - the pointer was whizzing about all over the screen compared to my previous mouse. I had to knock the pointer speed down to less than 50% before it became more manageable for my tastes. Not a big problem, but just something I noticed swapping between my old HP wireless mouse and this one.I wish it was a bit bigger physically but aside from that I'm happy..

Tough, reliable and lasts.
Does everything it should as it should. This being my second one, the first lasted years and was dropped on a daily basis, so had to buy another. Just one drawback. The battery cover is not very secure.

Decent mouse.
decent mouse, but with postage paid £18 for this mouse and to be honest its no better quality than cheaper mice you would have paid less than half that price for. however cheap mice tend to keep breaking after a year or two, so time will tell as to whether a higher quality mouse will last or not.its also quite smaller than i was expecting considering i have pretty small hands for a guy. on the plus side, it worked straight away and the blue colour looks rather nice.

A good mouse when you are on the go
I bought this mouse for work, I travel a lot with work and I find this a good mouse for use on the go. It is small enough to store in my laptop bag, yet big enough to use all day comfortably rather than the awkward mousepad on my laptop. The battery seems to last ok, I’ve even forgotten to turn off the mouse a few times over night and the battery has been fine, I just carry an extra AA battery with me just incase.

Love it
Brought this as my hp laptop mouse is weird, you press in one corner, then it comes up from the other. Not quite sure why it does that but I prefer using this mouse as it is quite simple to use. All you really need to do is put the battery in (energizer battery given) put the little USB device in, turn your mouse on from the back and you are good to go! Only really wanted for simplicity and also cause I can scroll on pages rather than clicking the down button or using the mousepad which takes FOREVER!
