Review: CRZ YOGA Butterluxe Stretch Pants (aka My Skating Superpants)These pants? Absolute magic. The CRZ YOGA Butterluxe stretch pants are my go-to for rollerblading and honestly, for life. First off—pockets. Real ones. Big enough to hold my phone while I skate like I’m in a music video. They’re buttery soft, stretchy in all the right ways, and still snug enough to keep everything in place under knee pads. Oh, and let’s talk about the rear view—these pants give my booty that freshly picked peach effect 🍑. Cute, comfy, functional… I have 3 pairs!!

I purchased the longline sports bra, full-length leggings, biker shorts and the zip-up jacket—all in deep purple and all in the Butterluxe fabric from this brand. And wow, they did not disappoint!The Butterluxe fabric is incredibly soft, just like Lululemon’s Align material. It feels luxurious against the skin and has the perfect amount of stretch while still being supportive.Longline Sports Bra – Super comfortable and flattering! It provides enough support for low-impact workouts but is also perfect for lounging. The material is buttery soft, and the fit is great.Biker shorts & Full-Length Leggings – They hug in all the right places, are squat-proof, and don’t roll down at the waist that much (they do roll a little since they are a thinner fabric). They are a thin fabric so aren't good for keeping you warm, but I prefer thin fabric for working out so I don't heat up. I could wear them all day, feel like a super smooth second skin.Zip-Up Jacket – The perfect lightweight layer! The fit is sleek, the zipper is smooth, and it’s just as soft as the rest of the set. Great for workouts or casual wear.I love having a fully coordinated set in this stunning deep purple color. If you’re on the fence, just get them—you won’t regret it! Would love for CRZ to standardize their colors a bit more so I can buy more full sets in the same color.

The softest and most comfortable leggings I have!! These are such high-quality leggings, I've bought other products from CRZ, and they just get better and better. You don't need $100 pair of leggings that aren't even that good of quality when you have options like these. I am 5'1 and I got a size small, and they fit perfectly. They're buttery-soft, and are so nice.

These leggings are seriously soft and comfy, almost like you’re not wearing anything at all. The Butterluxe fabric feels smooth and stretchy, and they stay put during workouts or just running errands. The waistband is comfy without squeezing and the pockets are perfect for my phone and keys.I’ve had them for a couple months now and they are starting to pill on the thighs, but I wear them a couple times a week so I’m not totally shocked.Even with the pilling, they’re still one of my favorite pairs and I’ve been reaching for them constantly.

The fabric is sooo soft and feels great against my skin. These yoga pants are very comfortable and move with your body as you are stretching and moving on your mat. The sizing chart was spot on, so it fits me perfectly. The material is great, size is true and flattering just like the real brand. Lululemon watch out, seriously watch out.

I wear lululemon almost exclusively. I use my Aligns for casual wear and for yoga. I wanted to try these CRZ leggings to see how they compare to Aligns in terms of fit and finish, and how they perform during yoga classes.Lululemon’s quality has been in a slow decline for years now, and I’ve been disappointed with quite a few of my recent purchases. Getting harder to justify $128 on a pair of leggings. I only wear align with pockets.Thickness and feel of fabric: CRZ fabric is thinner, but softer. It stretches farther than the Align fabric, which makes sense since CRZ has fewer sizes.Quality of stitching: the stitching is quite good, I was expecting to be unimpressed. Not a single loose thread on the entire garment. I’ve had brand new Aligns arrive with threads unraveling.Squat proof: Size M in color Melanite is squat proof on me.Wearability/ practicality: These are just as comfortable as Aligns. They move with my body the same way Aligns do. The pockets are higher set, which is annoying. But not a deal breaker for me. The butt seam isn’t as flattering as Aligns, but I don’t care about that.Verdict: I am done buying Aligns. I get can get pairs of CRZ for the same price as one pair of Aligns with pockets.I am 5’5”, 150 lbs, muscular build, hourglass shape. Thicker through the quads and glutes. I don’t ’size down’ in my Aligns - I wear an 8 across the board. I bought a Medium in the CRZ which are a perfect fit. My thighs measure: 21 inches. My waist measures: 32 inches. My hips measure: 41 inches.Don’t size down just because the pants are stretchy. You’ll shorten the lifespan of the garment by stressing the elastic fibers. People complaining that the leggings have lost their stretch are likely wearing a size or so too small.
