Good sturdy plug.
My old plug for my travel trailer gave out. It suddenly started losing connection and my truck stating that i lost lights, brakes, and the trailer was disconnected. This all happened somewhat close to my house on my way back from a trip. I tried unplugging and plugging in on my way back, but it would keep losing and gaining connection. It was causing an alert to go off on my truck every few seconds and that can make a person go crazy. I bought this and it was pretty easy to replace. The hardest part was keeping the swarm of gnats out of my face when putting the new one on. Had to cut the old plug off and match up the pattern in the instructions. Wasn’t hard as once you find the starting point, the wires were already in line with the pattern i needed to follow. There were a couple thicker wires that were a little harder to get into the clips, but it was a pretty easy swap. It is sturdy and fixed all my prior issues with my previous plug. If i ever needed another 7 prong plug, i would buy this again.

Superior plug would only buy this one form my trailers from now on
Superior plug. The water intrusion protection via tie cable gland is fantastic. My previous plug corroded from the inside out due to water weeping in through the simple crush plastic of the old connector. Easy to install. Sturdy.

Great plug!
Locks into vehicle plug securely. You would have to break the lid to pull it from the locking tab. The connection points also hold well. Water tight seal against the plug wiring works well, but I did have to use a section of heat shrink to get my trailer wire insulation to a large enough diameter to get a solid seal. -1*

Reliable and durable product
I recently installed this Oyviny RV 7 Pin Trailer Plug on my utility trailer, and I’m really impressed with the overall build quality. The IP68 waterproof seal is no joke — I’ve driven through some serious rain and muddy conditions, and this connector held up flawlessly without any sign of moisture getting inside. The detachable design makes it easy to install and remove, which is super convenient when you’re dealing with multiple trailers or replacing old connectors. What stood out to me is how secure the wire clamp and locking collar are. Once you tighten everything down, the cable is locked in place with zero movement. The internal terminals are solid brass, so you’re getting a good, corrosion-resistant connection every time. Plus, the plug fits snugly into my truck’s 7-way socket with no looseness or risk of losing connection while driving.Installation was straightforward thanks to the clear markings inside for each wire, saving me time and hassle compared to cheaper plugs. This is perfect for anyone hauling RVs, utility trailers, or boat trailers that need a reliable 7-point wiring solution.Overall, this is a professional-grade plug at a great price. Highly recommend!

I'd use again
Better than the normal replacement ends you find at autoparts store

Better product than you can get at the auto parts chain store
This makes the fourth seven pin plug I've needed to replace on my camper trailer in ten years or so. I seem to have bad luck with these, mainly due to corrosion and not making flush contact with my Tacoma's power receptacle. It's made from (apparently) high-impact plastic and has a threaded compression fixture to relieve tension stress on the cable housing and provide some measure of waterproofing. Rewiring does nor differ from any of the previous plugs I have done. I did find it prudent to wrap the area with electric tape, however. The head of the plug fits flush to the truck outlet and also engages nicely with the outlet's door to keep it stable and plugged in. I noted some others reporting distortion of the plug body from tightening the hex set screw. To have that happen you are tightening it way beyond necessity, which will be evident to any casual observer. All in all a good value. Will have to see how well it stands the test of time and the elements.
