SpongeBob Comics: Book 1: Silly Sea Stories

Fun and colourful stories for SpongeBob fans
This comic book is full of fun and silly stories that capture the spirit of SpongeBob. The illustrations are bright and engaging, and the short stories are easy for kids to follow. The humour works for both children and adults, making it enjoyable to read together. The page quality is good and has held up well even after multiple readings. Featuring familiar characters from the show, it’s a great way to enjoy SpongeBob outside the screen.

My 8 year old really enjoys these - he's at an age where he's no longer interested in the younger books, but is not quite ready for the longer books without pictures. He can read these independently and there are various stories and jokes.

For th discerning spongebob fan
Most Spongebob fans of a certain age will agree that the series is an absolute disaster after series 3. So it's great to say that the contents of this book would be right at home amongst the early episodes of spongebob. Essentially it's 'classic spongebob'.No surprise that, as the cover says, it's a sort of 'best of' from the regular comic series selected by the creator and also that many of the best strips are the work of Derek Drymon - one of the original writers and creative director before the show went off a cliff edge. A little gem for 'classic' spongebob fans.
