When used with a computer, I have to pick between displaying and charging my device, the dongle cannot display and charge the computer at the same time. The charger I’m using is a 45watt charger.

Buying a huge expensive hub is not the answer. This delivers 100w, and let's me have a hdmi out. Other products fail and fail again. Spare yourself. Buy this. Tested continuously over a week. Gets warm but never fails.

This device works as claimed...but with no instructions to speak of it took me quite a while thru "trial and error" getting this item to work as it supposed to. Aside from the basic cable connections...you're left to your own deductive reasoning to get your phone or tablet to interact thru this device.Once I figured that out, the picture and sound quality broadcast on the TV screen was crisp, detailed, vibrant, and the sound was full and robust.I would've given it 5 stars...if it came with phone setting-up instructions.

I originally got the semi-transparent style JSAUX C to HDMI adapter. But that one was not compatibible with my Dell monitor.But this work works well ALL the devices I have, including samsung, sony, dell, (TV, Tablet, Phone , PC). So this is the WINNER. It is also small and sleek.Great product.

This device did not work for my purpose will need to choose another but doesn't mean it won't for another future purpose.
