Fits superior ghc-5500. Attempted cleaning old first. Not successful. Replaced with this millivolt thermopile. Now the gas logs light up just fine.

They work

I installed this as a replacement for a gas water heater. The water heater control is a Resideo, whose white cover looks identical to the Honeywell as well as other brands.It fit first try, with the exception of the nut not screwing in. Thankfully the way it slides into the thermopile port was snug enough to ease my concern.Had to clip the terminals and connect then into the old Resideo adapter which was completed by cutting the old thermopile and splicing the ends together.The heater control is working as expected and blinks one time every 3 seconds, reporting correct thermopile voltage. If anything changes I will update this review.Good luck!

It seems that too often things are not what they appear, this came to me just as pictured and worked fine for my lp gas fireplace.

I use this thermal coupler in my cozy heat fireplace propane and it works good. It did burn out a little quicker than my last one, but it was also one quarter of the price so I would say all in them. It was definitely worth it and would do it again.

Was freezing after my last thermopile went out. I got smart and bought two this time. Thanks for the quick shipment.

Fit great. My multi meter measured about 370 mV after installation. Worked for one day and now it's reading less than 200 and the burner won't ignight.

My heat-n-glow fireplace wall switch would not turn on/off the fireplace while the local switch did work. By replacing the thermopile, everything worked great. This thermopile fit perfectly. Replacing it was a bit of a chore (access was difficult - not the fault of the part). Now the wall switch works again.
