STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT PUT IT ON 70 AND IT COOKED MY TURTLE. WENT TO 110 DEGREES AND COOKED HIM

I bought 2 of these for a 65gal, the oldest has no problems with suction but, the newest one releases itself sometimes, hoping it will "breakin" soon. The only downside to this heater as far as I can tell is the clips on the housing are brittle, they broke on the first one i recieved. I wrapped mine with screen and SS wire to protect baby snails and Ancistrus from getting to the inside of the cage, worked very well with a few dabs of superglue gel to hold the screen. I was careful with the second and the clips survived, be aware.

It is actually heats the water.
I plugged the unit in and within a half hour the water was warm. my little female RES was happy camper and camped out on top of it. My other little lady was happy and less stressed out. Thanks for making the best product.
