Q: Is this safe for saltwater pools?

Yeah, It's just shock. Saltwater pools disinfect the same as any other pool it's just that the chlorine comes from salt in the water being broken down into Chlorine and Sodium by the saltwater element in the piping.

Q: Can I use this in our coleman above ground pool?

We have an above ground pool that we use it on. Not a Coleman pool, it's a much older pool that we have had more than 15 years. The last liner replacement was three years ago and we've used this product on our liner without any noticable damage from this treatment. Hope this information helpful.

Q: I am looking for a product to prevent mustard algae. How many ounces of this would I need each week per 10K pool gallons?

My pool is 15' x 30' w/7' deep end, I use 8oz every other week and live in South Florida where the sun & humidity can wreak havoc on a pool. I also use 1 lb. of 4 in 1 shock (15 min to swim) every other week. My last part of my regimen is 2 capfulls of Phos-Free evry other week. Sometimes I forget and go 3 weeks between treatments. The worst I get is some black algae in the upper tile grout by the coping and very light green algae on the walls that brushes off. My water is crystal clear and always tests good at the pool store. I have been following this regimen for 12 years.
