The vanity and stool comes fully assembled, so it's ready to play with right out of the box. Speaking of the box, Mattel has put effort into keeping the box out of the recycle bin by printing a great background that folds out into a bedroom diorama background that you can keep, and use for storage as well. The accessories are very fun, and were a deciding factor for me in buying this set. In fact, it was so awesome and well-priced, I had to buy two. Unfortunately, it is designed with holes on the desk that the accessories plug in to, rather than sitting anywhere. This is great for kids, because the slightest tap on the vanity would knock the things off of it. But this means that there are several holes in the vanity top if you don't have the items pushed in as intended. If you're a crafty adult collector, you can fill in the holes and go on with enjoying the vanity. The drawer opens (both of mine are slightly difficult to open) and all the accessories fit inside the drawer.

We love playing make believe with Barbie so this was a perfect addition to my daughter’s toys. She sets it up and plays camping with it. It is made well and the accessories are fun. Definitely a great gift for the Barbie lover.

The outdoor chair and fire pit fit well on the back porch of the Barbie Dream House. The chair is sturdy and Barbie fits in it easily without sliding around. I put the box this set came in on the wall so it adds a scenic backdrop that looks like a backyard. The birdhouse is off to the side; the hot cocoa snaps in place around the fire pit & the marshmallows for toasting fit in Barbie’s hand. This is a very nice addition to the Dream House decor.

This set is absolutely worth the price. It comes in a sturdy cardboard box that folds out into a background (see photo).Some of the accessories look a bit cheap, like the bird, and the fireplace doesn’t light up, but that’s understandable for the price. I do love the little marshmallows on sticks, and wish there was a groove or something to hold them on the fire pit.The set includes everything in my photos except the pink chair and doll.A good set for a kid to play or a collector for photos/diaramas.

I wish set came with 2 chairs . I had to buy 2 sets to have a camping scene. But...I'm happy with the look and quality.

This was a very cute item to add to the girls Barbie items.They play with it often!

I bought as an adult collector for the chair & bird. I was pleasantly surprised that the box opened to a small backdrop, since I enjoy taking pictures of my dolls.
