Dyson Omni-Glide Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

I have been eyeing this for over a year and when a discount price for “like new” popped up I got it.So light and easy to use on my antique hardwood floors! Don’t have to drag out the big plug in one now. My floors will be so much easier to keep clean with no scratches. Easy to use, absolutely love it!

I have a love-hate relationship with Dyson brand vacuums. They’re pretty expensive and they usually break pretty quickly. They’re also really big and hard to use as cordless stick vacuums go. Not so with this thing though- this Omni glide is really cool. It’s crazy lightweight and you can swing it back-and-forth and it picks up from both directions. The head is very small but we use it as a secondary upstairs vacuum and it works perfectly for that. If I had a small apartment it would be great for that. I wouldn’t do an entire house with it, but this has been the coolest Dyson that we’ve owned.

It's a piece of garbage… We have had it less than a year and it doesn't properly get up even easy things on the floor and at this point it is not charging… It also gets clogged very easily and it spit stuff back out a complete waste of money get something that is more reliable. Suction power and battery life are trash

This product brings together all the features one might want in a vacuum designed for smooth floors. First, it has two counter-rotating brushes. No matter which direction the vac is being pushed or pulled, the dirt is being swept into the center area and the opposing brush will not let it escape. The brushes are soft and will not scratch the floor boards nor miss even tiny particles of dust. Even going diagonally across cracks will pick up particles from in the cracks, even at low speed.Second, the unit is easy to twist in circles around furniture legs, so there is no missing anything.Third, it will allow the handle to lay right down on the floor level so as to get under low furniture.Fourth, the unit stands on the floor against the wall and automatically helps the user set the height of the charger base. Great idea and great design. Works perfectly.Fifth, it is light weight and is fairly quiet at low speed.

I struggled with the number of stars I should give this vacuum. The suction isn't the greatest but should be fine for crumbs on your hardwood or tile floor or if you have maybe one pet that doesn't shed a lot.A friend told me about this stick vacuum and how well it worked for her. But, she had no pets and used it daily for kitchen floor crumbs.I decided to try it, since we'd just installed luxury vinyl tile on our lower level and I wanted something lightweight that I could use daily to pick up pet hair. I knew almost immediately it wouldn't be enough to keep up with my zoo - 2 dogs, 3 cats, & a parrot and one of the dogs is a massive shedder. The beater bars would quickly stop rolling due to the amount of pet hair that would get wound around it. Eventually it stopped working. We'd had it only a few days so I don't know if it was too much pet hair or if it just broke. We returned it and the seller was wonderful, reimbursing us 100% of the price.It wasn't enough for my needs, but I deducted one star because for the price, it should have a little more suction.

We purchased this for those small cleanups and in between big vacuum days? We purchased this along with a V15 Submarine and use this 3 x as much as the big one! Great suction, great battery life, easy dump! Advise getting a spare filter because you’ll plug it up and have to wait for the filter to dry! You’ll love this thing it’s so handy for everything! My dogs hate it, because now after cooking and eating this thing grabs all the dropped stuff before they can!!!! We highly recommend this vacuum!

I purchased the Dyson Omni-Glide Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 2 years ago. Issues found, my spouse didn't know how to attach the solid extension correctly to the vacuum section. Some how she jammed it in so hard that it worked and then complained that the power head didn't turn. Since I corrected that mistake, it leaks around the vacuum connection. The recharging hasn't been grand as I didn't want to put holes in the apartment wall. I keep a Kirby for bigger jobs. But the Dyson is great for simple and small area clean ups. The markings for connection of pieces needs more contrast or make the two larger fins on the connect larger so 180 connections is impossible. It's work well. I thought the price was a bit steep, but a good quality unit so far. I wanted something that can handle pet hair. And this does a super job with minimal fuss. And read the manual on how to clean it. Makes it even better than a larger Kirby.

I just recently bought the Dyson Omni-glide and already love it. It is the handiest thing to pull out and give the floors a quick once over. The suction is amazingly good, and I can do my whole 1400 sq. ft. house on a single charge. It’s so versatile in maneuvering around things, under things, and in small places. My only complaint, which I have also seen in some other reviews, is that sometimes junk gets stuck in the collection bin. I use an old crochet hook to solve this problem. I’m so glad I made this purchase.
