Quite Simply, Superb
After having chemo and a stem cell transplant, I lost 95% of my sense of taste 2 years ago now. I can however taste this olive oil and if I can taste it then it must be full of flavour for those of you with fully functioning taste buds. I love it on Bruschetta, in some hummus or just drizzled onto a slice of a freshly baked olive loaf. Absolutely delicious and at this price delivered to your front door. It is a bonanza. Highly recommended. Buy some and enjoy your life that little bit more.

Outstanding oil
I find myself trying many different kinds of olive oil, often buying the 3 litre or 5 litre tins. It seems that a peppery taste is one indicator of high-quality olive oil and this one certainly scores well on that front. However, of the olive oils I have tried the last couple of years, Odysea Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tin, 5 Litre is by far the most peppery olive oil that I've ever tasted. The other oil I've purchased lately, Iliada PDO Kalamata Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tin 5 Litre, is inferior in taste and texture to both this Chrisanthi olive oil and the Odysea one too.Having watched the odd TV documentary about food, and in particular olive oil, it would seem that the veracity of olive oil can often be questionable. There have even been books written about the murky world of olive oil production (Extra Virginity: The Sublime and Scandalous World of Olive Oil for example). Even expensive olive oil bought in supermarkets can often apparently be of dubious purity. Even buying a large quantity like this, you are still paying more than double the supermarket price per litre for extra virgin olive oil but it is probably worth it in my opinion. You'd hope that having the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) that this olive oil is what it claims to be, and I have no reason to think otherwise having sampled it. In my opinion, this is an extremely good quality olive oil.The best before date was just over 18 months after the date of delivery. The nutritional information displayed in the listing is exactly as on the tin, which is not always the case.

Lovely flavour
Use lots of olive oil in my cooking. This, to me, has a light and excellent flavour. Use instead of Spanish and Italian oils in frying or as a condiment. Decant out of tin into an oil drizzler, so you may need a small funnel.

Great for its price
The quality of it is great. I have tried the expensive ones from the local supermarkets but this is far better then any of them. If you like olive oil, don't hesitate to buy this.
