Twang away!
Superb pick up for that twangy sound, but not just for that sort of music, it's good for indie, alt. rock , blues and jazz too.It all depends on what you pair it with, but you can get something else in the 2 pick up position. And although it's twangy, it's pretty warm in my opinion. (for info I paired it with the Jerry Donahue bridge pick up which is very growly and punk), it kicks some ass when in a band situation but it can be nice and mellow when at home

Great pickup
Incredible pickup. Great tele sound and humbucker when you want it to be. There is a good reason Ritchie Kotzen uses it and dynamically phenomenal.

Mean Sounds!
Don't listen to Louie, their 1 star is very harsh IMO.These pickups sound huge, mean, and tight pared with my flatwounds.I installed these in my 2008 60's MIM Fender Jazz and the bass sounds better than it ever has! However, might be worth noting that if you want a more standard jazz bass sound, these may not be for you, I would recommend looking up the countless videos on youtube of side by side pickup comparisons!I will note, I did have to made some slight alterations to my bass to make this fit, so please be aware to double check the sizes before ordering!

Excellent versatile pickups
I have found the DiMarzio DP123 pickups to superb upgrades to either fretted or fretless bass. The first set I bought were fitted to a Japanese Fender jazz some years ago, and they sound better than any pickups I had previously used. As the coils are 'stacked', they can be wired with push / pull pots for single coil or humbucking use, giving a lot of variety to the tones achievable, without active circuitry. I have recently fitted a pair in an old fretted Korean Squier jazz, and they too have given an old bass a new lease of life. I would highly recommend them, particularly for fretless bass.

A hot 🔥 pink pickup!
I liked the colour of this pick up. I had a Dimarzio evolution neck pickup and I wanted the middle and bridge pick up to go with it. This pick up sounds better than the Dimarzio super distortion I had. The evolution bridge has more crunch, bite and depth of sound I hear.

Great neck pickup
Bought this for a Squire standard Telecaster.I already had the Twang King bridge pickup which was great, but nothing else seemed to work with it.The middle position just wasn't what I wanted.Fitted the Twang King neck pickup and everything changed. It gives a very traditional-sounding telecaster tone, so the neck pickup sounds really nice now and the middle position has be come my favourite.
