I needed this for an accessory drawer in my travel trailer. As you can see in the picture it fits almost perfectly. I only extended one end of the utensil holder because I needed space up front to hold the deeper-larger utensils. Yes, it is shallow. Overall (outside) depth is 2" so the internal depth is 1 1/8" in the center (main) section and 1 5/8" in the slide out portions. It's a quality-built piece and has a nice consistent finish on it (which almost matches my cabinetry in the trailer). I have a small travel trailer, so I don't need a lot of silverware. It's perfect for my needs :^)

This saved up a lot of space you can make it big and small whatever size you want it’s really nice

Generally happy with it but it would have been better if it was a bit deeper or wider. It is not deep enough to stack a dozen spoons or forks and not wide enough to fit a dozen on the side. So you will probably fit 6-8 per compartment. Also not very sturdy. First one I received was cracked but promptly replaced

The media could not be loaded.  Perfect fits all my silverware and serving spoons, etc

It came smelling STRONGLY of paint, which I guess is to be expected, but when I opened it up, I found a lot of spots that just looked messed up. Spots where there wasn't paint, or spots where it looked scratched up. It fits perfectly in my kitchen drawer and I had a hard enough time finding something that I liked and that would fit, so I didn't return it, but it could have been better made.
