My plant got very sick in this.
I have a large collection of succulents which are all in terracotta pots and are (were) all healthy. As these fabric pots promised "superior drainage" I thought I would try repotting my crassula jade plant in this, with a view to possibly repotting all my succulents in these. After repotting the first thing I realised was that it was difficult to get the pot to stand upright, because it's soft. It's probably not an issue with the larger sizes, but this has a relatively small base with tall sides, and it took me a little while to get it sitting just right. Then when I picked it up to put it on a saucer the sides squidged in and some of my top dressing fell down the insides of the pot. Luckily I hadn't filled it all the way to the top or some would have overspilled. Not a big deal with a jade plant, but it wouldn't be suitable for the majority of my succulents as they need top dressing to keep the leaves dry, and they would all have to be positioned so that the base of the leaves was several cm down from the lip of the pot which would mean they would be partially hidden from view and the smaller ones like the split rocks would be shaded by the pot. The pot looks ugly sitting in a saucer and would need to be hidden inside a decorative sleeve. Although I didn't try doing this I imagine it would be quite tricky to lift this fabric pot out to tip away the excess water. When I watered the soil (from above, with a watering can) the water immediately poured out the side of the pot in a spout and went straight into the saucer. The soil then soaked up the water from below over the next few minutes. As I don't normally water succulents from below I was unsure how much to give the plant. A few weeks later, without warning, almost all the leaves fell off one side of the plant. I repotted it back into a terracotta pot and checked it all over, including the roots, for pests - I couldn't find any. The stalks with the missing leaves look black and white, rather than brown/green and I had to cut them back to where they look healthy.I thought I would take the set of pots to the charity shop so I washed the used one and it has gone bobbly - another reason to put it inside a sleeve.

Great item at a great price!
These pots have been great and for the price they were a steal. Plants grow with more vigour and grow faster. The extra oxygen getting to the roots make a huge difference and no more worries of waterlogged plants. These are a must have item for keen horticulturalists i found they boosted flower production as well as tomato's on my plants. The great thing with fabric pots is the fact that they naturally prune the roots via air drying. No more coiled up root ball!

Can't wait to grow in them.
Deliver was spot on time. The pots look great. The material feels like felt but feel solid, nice and thick and you can just make out light through them so you can see how the air gets to the roots. Would not hesitate buying the slightly larger 11 litre square pots in the future. Not tried them yet but looking forward to growing my herb in them, here in Spain.

White 20L
I bought white pots because they reflect heat better. At first, there was no difference but when I covered the top of the soil with another white material, I observed a notable drop in temps! They look awful when they've been watered in (with soil) but given that they work well I can't mark them down.

The grey bags are great but don't buy the white ones!
Well made, time will tell but they seem sturdy enough. Easy to move about. Make sure to put them on a trivet or something to allow air to pass and also to drain excess water. So good I bought them twice! Edit: DON'T BUY THE WHITE ONES!! They are rubbish! Won't hold water so EVERY TIME I've watered, even carefully, it runs right out.

Might as well buy round ones
Got 4 sqaure pots thought i was getting round ones but sqaure should be better so I think it's all good. Thick and strong enough to keep their shape I think the Tom's will love them.UPDATE... they have gone round shape and haven't kept their shape at all.

Cool!
Love these. Last year used them for cordon tomatoes and this year for bush tomatoes and some cayenne chillies. Folds away after use until the Spring.

Saved my plants
I had some pot plants outside that were getting waterlogged in plastic pots, these stopped the yellowing and everything us perked back up. Would recommend.
