Steamforged Dark Souls: The Board Game - Tomb of Giants, Core, SFDS-020

Recieved within a week (standard postage), which is pretty outstanding given where I live. Everything else was as advertised.

En un principio me asusté por el precio, investigué en la página principal y resultó ser un nuevo lote con todo el tablero y tarjetas del juego base además de reglas actualizadas.Si el precio no te asusta y eres un coleccionista fan de Dark Souls, esta es una compra segura, la calidad de Steamforged Games es muy superior y quedarás encantado por todo lo que este lote contiene.

Me parece buen producto pero no es nada compatible con anteriores expansiones.

El juego bien pudo haber Sido una expansión, añadieron un par de cosas nuevas y los nuevos jefes son geniales, pero considero que por el precio no lo vale. Las cartas del juego inicial son las mismas , y vienen menos personajes. Si nunca has comprado el core set de dark souls pues puedes empezar con este ,si ya tienes el set principal pues solo lo recomiendo si eres fan y quieres tener los nuevos jefes.

One of the problems with the original Dark Souls Board Game was that the non-Boss combat got repetitive masking the only interesting part of the game the Boss fights. These new core sets change all of that by making the fights up to the boss interesting. They are essentially mini-games and not all of them are to kill everything. For instance, you may be asked to go hit several levers and then make it to the exit, with a condition for extra goodies if you complete it in 6 turns or less. Additionally, some rewards give you specific items from the drop deck. Secondly, after completing an encounter you will draw an Event which may give you (or the enemies!) a bonus for the next Encounter or even a free stat upgrade. One of the neatest things as well is that some of the Encounters modify the enemies, spicing things up. For example, one I played earlier made a normally squishy Rat into one with 10 health, along with a little flavor-text as to why. Things like this have brought the game to the next level.
