I got it working fine, but not how I'd planned to do it.
Can I initially say, that this is a very good extender for HDMI images. Really clear image at the receiving end, good stability and seems to feed IR signals back OK.However, I mainly wanted to let people know of a couple of issues I came across when setting this up...First off, I'd mis-read the description that this device is just an extender. I'd looked at the images and incorrectly surmised that the sending end had a HDMI pass-through on it. This is not the case. You need a HDMI splitter (available for quite cheap - I went with one from ESYNiC) to take a feed from a HDMI device AND STILL RETAIN the ability to watch it on the main TV. As I say, my bad.The second issue, however, was more unexpected. As the description infers, you can happily hook this up to a switch and pass the signal to another receive modules should you want. Now that sounded useful. I wanted to take a feed off of my Tivo box and feed it upstairs to another TV, but being able to send to another receiver in the future was attractive. So I set about getting the network connection from the sender device to a nearby TPLink 8 port (non-smart) network switch which was then connected via CAT5e cable to the rest of the home network. Eventually, from another switch upstairs, more CAT5e would lead to the receive box. All was set up OK. I turned on the sender and receiver... Yes the picture appeared and all seemed fine. However, at exactly the same point, my wife commented how slow the wifi internet had got. On checking I could see the issue - the poor TPLink box was flashing like crazy with all port lights blinking madly. Turning off the hdmi sender and the switch went back to normal. So, yes, you can send the signal over your home network, but if you have any dumb switches in the way, you'll likely drown out all the other network traffic in the process. In the end, I bought some flat CAT7 cable and laid cable directly from the HDMI sender to the receiver, keeping the devices off my home network. And this worked perfectly... so just be aware of that issue if you intended to use these devices on your own home network. It occurred to me later that maybe a proper smart switch might have been able to carry the traffic, but by then I'd laid the new cable. In summary - good picture but might flood your home network if you don't have the correct equipment to handle the traffic.

Nice, easy to use product.
So I've only just installed 1 transmitter and 2 receivers, replacing some single wire point to point boxes. They're very easy to set up, just plug and play. The picture quality seems to be good, although I've not had to much time to sit and just watch to to tell, but seems on par with my last setup.2 things to note, I've plugged mine into my router, this did cripple the network, as the transmitter is flooding the network with data. However I then set up a VLAN and seperated the 3 ports to its own VLAN, this instantly restored the network to its previous speed.Second small note is that as other reviewers have mentioned the IR signal is delayed slightly, but it's not massive, and I suspect because of the VLAN this has helped compared to other reviewers.

A revelation...
I can confirm to any of those wondering that I have this working over TP Link AV1000 powerline adapters, using 2 x cat5e cables, 2 quality HDMI cables and using 5V DC to USB cables to power the units instead of the mains adapters. The TV's 5V 1A USB socket is sufficient to power.Absolutely over the moon, no more 20m 15mm thick HDMI cable running around my house!!!!

Working with SkyQ
After some initial problems I have successfully got this up and running with SkyQ. Right out of the box the picture quality was good, however there was no sound. After a lot of troubleshooting, I found the issue to be with the SkyQ box and not with the extenders so check your Audio output settings if you have similar issues. I am experiencing a slight latency on the remote control commands but having used similar systems in the past, experience tells me that this may be due to the positioning of the IR extenders which may require some experimentation. These extenders look smart and appear to be well made, so far so good.

Working well over about 60m Cat5e buried.
I'm using this to send HDMI from an outside "earth station" for satellite TV reception over about 60m of Cat5e cable, to a TV in the living room of a holiday home. This solution is being used because we didn't want to put a satellite TV dish on the property itself. The cabling is a mixture of interior and exterior grade Cat5e with two patch bays linking the local and remote end. So far it's working perfectly without any dropout and with the IR remote control signal also successfully transmitted. At the moment this is a direct (patched) cable connection, ultimately the plan is to have several TVs with receivers linked via a partitioned segment of the switch.

Better than expected
Fantastic picture quality running through my homes cat6 cable. I used a spare NETGEAR switch to keep the setup separate from my main network. It made all the blood sweat and tears running the cat6 cable through the house worth it. 😂 The only thing that lets it down is the super bright LEDs, nothing a bit of black electrical tape can’t handle though. The Virgin engineer loved me when he discovered he didn’t have to route any wiring when fitting my second Tivo box. 👍

Good HDMI extender, Can distribute connection using multiple receivers and network switch.
I have been using this device for the last 2 years and have set up with 2 transmitter . First transmitter is connected via cat 6 cables to 3 receivers via a switch. The second transmitter is connected point to point. The only suggestion i have is that there are similar looking devices on sale, make sure they use HDBitT protocol, this way they would be compatible and you will be able to add more receivers. HDBitT ones are the ones that can be split using the network switch. The only issue i had faced during this 2 years is with the power adapters. 2 of them have stopped working, Apart form this, i like this device and would buy again.

I had tried a different brand that was unsuccessful so I am so pleased with the Esyinc 120m unit
this product works really well, I am able to transmit 1080p @ 40m with standard utp cat6 cable.I had tried a different brand that was unsuccessful so I am so pleased with the Esyinc 120m unit, it is worth paying more especially if you need a run distance of over 30m.I didn't get this product discounted for review.
