If the measurements are truly accurate then this is the same size as a brand name one. I am a size 26/28 and the brand name one fits fine. Obviously it's not as loose and floppy as it would be on a standard sized person, but it was comfortable and not constricting.

Depends on your definition of "fit". In general, I think it would fit...it may be short on him. It also depends on his overall build. I found that this item was not as generous a fit as shown in the picture. So, if he has really wide shoulders, or a "pot belly" it may have a closer fit than shown.

My son is 4’11 and weighs 93 lbs. it fits him more like an oversized sweatshirt. If she wants a really oversized blanket feel then this will be too small in my opinion. I wish I would have got the adult size.
