Great solid deep color! Black sidewalk chalk is essential to outline and add depth. This one is a winner, and not too difficult to wash off hands (try baby shampoo).

My daughter is 17 and for the past year, when weather is good, she goes to the nursing home across the street and draws a new picture for the residents at their front doors. They even have a suggestion box inside and she draws one out and attempts their suggestions. She often practices at home first and I have seen the quality of the chalk firsthand. She just got another box as a gift for her birthday and was over the moonLD chalk is bright and vibrant, smooth, blends beautifully and lasts a lot longer than the storebought ones. My daughter is saving for black and white box next because the black is SO vibrant and makes her murals pop. It even washes off well and no intense scrubbing is needed.My advice, if you are debating on purchasing, just do it! It is well worth every penny!

Great color but did not wash off without leaving a stain so beware where you use it.

Dark black color as advertised. Unfortunately all of the sticks were broken in half but still useable.A little pricey but it worth the cost if you or your children use sidewalk chalk often.The chalk itself sticks very well and will get on anything you touch

Great, true black chalk. I had been using willow stick charcoal for outlines a depth—but it blows away too easily. Finding these black only packages made my day.

The white and black are so pigmented! Not too great for kids because it gets on EVERYTHING! But I just make sure not to give my son those colors and use them when I’m drawing with him! When you rinse them they almost look a little oily? Which is odd but it doesn’t stain the ground that I’ve noticed.
