Useful for starting a new tank
It simply replaces all those starter kits as you can double the dose for a new aquarium to boost the biological filter. What a brilliant product! My guppies are happy with this.

Solved my tank problems!
I seemed to have a huge problem in my biorb 30l, which had been running for over 4 years, suddenly dyed and any new fish kept dying too. I tested the water for PH, Ammonia, Nitrate and Nitrite and everything seemed to be ok.I started adding this product to my tank on a weekly basis with a 20% water change. I then added neon tetra (which I have had trouble with in the past as they can be quite tricky to adjust to new water), and a month later and they are all there still! I guess this product must have been the solution and will now be part of my weekly tank maintenance routine.Also, this is much better value than at my local fish store so will always be buying via Amazon.
