This is a generic type of water timer and for the price is good value. Offers a choice of how long to keep the water on and the frequency of this. Very easy to set and the only problem I have is this at the moment has been an annual purchase because I leave it out too long into the autumn and a hard frost breaks the plastic outlet when the water freezes. This isn't the fault of the equipment though. Have tried the digital ones but they are not as simple to use or robust as this and the batteries don't last. This kind of timer sees one set of batteries last the season.

bought 3 of these now, the first 2 are working perfectly but the last one has issues. It doesn't seem to have the same water pressure as the others! However very happy with the first 2, will email the manufactures to see why low pressure is happening.

Easy to install and set time, very happy

These have to be my worst buy from Amazon in a long time. They were not cheap but miracuously, they had some good reviews.I do not usually leave poor reviews but as i suspect some fakery with the good reviews, i have taken the time to add balance to the reviews. Do not be fooled, the batteries only last two or three weeks, so you have to reset. To make it worse, they often run out with the valve open, resulting in floods.One of the two that I bought had the control panel fill up with water so broke altogether. I got fed up with the other failing constantly and replaced them both with cheaper but more effective units from another supplier.What a complete waste of time for everyone but the seller.

Easy to use and works a treat - lasted for a couple of years and still going. good batteries last a few months.

I've bought two of these in the past, and both failed at the same point: where the unit is screwed to the tap. That's probably my fault for leaving them in place over winter, but I won't be buying a third.It's also worth noting there's no "On" button. Whatever time you insert the batteries, 12 hours from then is when it's going come on. So, if you want it to start at 6.30pm in the evening, you'll need to be up at 6.30 in the morning to set it up.

Great piece of kit easy to use and does exactly what it says

This is a basic unit that gives scheduling watering and is good value for money compared to many of the more advanced units on the market. Instructions are easy to follow.The only downside is the connection to the tap and you may need a reducer, some plumbers tape and an extra rubber washer. All are easily found in your local hardware store. When it's connected properly it works fine and can be left alone.. I normally use these timers during the summer and remove the batteries during the winter. I have used the most expensive to the least and they ALL fail eventually after two or three yers. So my advice is to stick to the cheaper options.
