Nice fishing pliers, very long reach

Handle is comfortable and pliers grip hooks well. Long enough to reach in big walleyes mouths.

The description says they are stainless steel and ready for saltwater use. The joint was rusted within weeks. I have soaked them in PB Blaster multiple times to loosen them up. They barely move. The rubber handles were coming loose within one or two uses. I rinse my gear with fresh water when I'm done fishing, but it doesn't help. The steel looks more like gun bluing than stainless. Stay away from this product.

Husband loves using this when he goes fishing it makes it so easy to lip fish plus comes with a lanyard for fast pull out.

This is a nice solid pliers. The steel is coated with a dark grey coating or paint of some kind. It does not look like polished stainless steel as some reviewers have noted, but I can’t comment on corrosion resistance yet. I did coat this tool with a light film of machine oil as I do with most of my high carbon steel tools, as a precaution.

They are not made of stainless steel. These have a lot more steel rather than stainless steel. I guarantee these will rust in no time when I use them fishing. I would not recommend these at all.

These pliers seemed pretty good. Not too heavy. A good length. Handle was also comfy. But the cutter seems bent upwardz and they are either misaligned or bent so much that there is a gap even when you forcefully close the pliers. Mught have just received a lemon.
