Ehhhh… I mean, it works.
I am certainly NOT a tattoo artist at all, but I like doing the stick and poke for fun. I wanted to get this to practice a little more. I have issues with wiping the ink away. I’m not sure if I’m using the wrong product, but I was using rubbing alcohol to wipe the excess ink away so I could see the results left after. It doesn’t wipe away. It smears really badly and then just stays that way and doesn’t go away. I was trying to work on stippling since that’s kind of all stick and poke is, and when I tried wiping away the gradient, it just blegh… I should definitely research what tattoo artists use to wipe away the excess, but if it is rubbing alcohol then it doesn’t work. Otherwise, it’s fine. I saw other reviews talking about the depth of the skin and how you can’t see how deep you go, but I mean, it’s a cheap product so I wouldn’t expect super amazing quality. It was okay for what I wanted it for. I just wish I was able to wipe the excess away better.

I'm very new to tatting but used these the whole time.
I am new and don't know too much about different skins. What I do know is that for the money. These skins are worth it. Most will tell us to get the more expensive kinds not sold on Amazon. However, this skin is great for beginners who will probably use so many in a quick amount of time. It took the ink well. I used these all the way up to actual skin. And my work turned out great. It doesn't stretch very much as you would like. But again...for the money. Worth it. FYI if you get too close to the edge while tatting. It will scare you when it vibrates like crazy. Always be sure to get a good 3 pull finger placement down when getting to the edge.
