HOZELOCK Double Male Hose Connector
I bought the HOZELOCK Double Male Hose Connector Pro to extend the length of my garden hose, and it’s performed exactly as advertised. The build quality is excellent—robust and solid with a reassuring weight to it. It fits universally with standard hose fittings, and the connection is tight and leak-free.It clicked perfectly into place with my existing Hozelock and non-Hozelock hoses, which was a pleasant surprise. It feels like it’s made to last, not a flimsy plastic piece that cracks after a few uses.If you’re looking to join two hoses together without hassle, this connector is a must-have. It’s a simple solution that works flawlessly.Highly recommended.

The Day My Garden Hose Went the Distance
I used to think that watering the garden was the least dramatic activity in the world. You attach a hose, turn on the tap, and hope you don’t drench your sneakers. But then came a day I’ll never forget: my humble hose just couldn’t reach the end of the yard. My poor tomatoes were as parched as desert cacti, and my once-proud watering routine turned into a desperate dance with extension cords and soggy shoes.Enter the Hozelock Double Male Hose Connector Pro—the champion I never knew I needed. I remember hearing about it from a neighbor who claimed it could “change your entire relationship with gardening.” I laughed. That is, until I realized I was literally running around with a dripping hose that ended three feet too soon.So I popped open the package, half-expecting some complicated contraption with fifteen levers and a user manual thicker than a phone book. Instead, I was greeted by this simple, sleek, and, dare I say, majestic metal connector. It was like the Excalibur of hose-fittings, ready to unite two hoses into one unstoppable water-blasting force. In went the first hose, then the second, and—click! Suddenly, my unassuming garden hose could snake its way to the farthest reaches of the yard. No more half-watered flowers, no more precarious leaps over muddy patches. I had so much hose length, I nearly watered the neighbor’s yard by accident—surprise, free lawn care! The best part? This little connector is built tough. No drips, no leaks, no comedic blasts of water in my face. Just a solid, dependable connection that made me feel like I was wielding some magical staff of hydration. And it fits just about any hose diameter, so I didn’t have to stress about brand compatibility or rummage through my garage for matching parts. My hose was so long and so powerful, I’m pretty sure my flowers started a rumor that I’d installed a personal rainforest in my backyard. Now, I’m the local legend who can water half the block with a flick of the tap. If that doesn’t make me the hero of my neighborhood, I don’t know what does. So, if you’ve ever found yourself wrestling a too-short hose, cursing the skies (and maybe your garden), trust me on this: the Hozelock Double Male Hose Connector Pro is the unexpected superstar you’ll wish you’d found sooner. It might not grant you superpowers, but it sure feels like it when your garden is finally in full bloom—and you’re watering it all from the comfort of your patio.

Excellent purchase great quality.
Perfect fit, no leaks. The steel beats plastic for durability any day. The steel hoselock connector is worth buying if you don't want to be bothered with leaks that you get with the plastic connectors. The male conntector is very easy to fit, to the female hose connectors. The water pressure at the nozzle is better, because of the firm seal. I will buy again to use for an extention hose. Great quality for the cost.

Fitted both hoses but only just
I have two hoses by different manufacturers and while this easily fitted one, it only just, with a little hard persuasion, fitted the other. Was this a problem for Hozelock? Probably not, but I have to review according to my own circumstances and this loses a star for it. Other than that, it is well made and should provide long service, just as long as I leave it attached now that I have it fitting both hoses.

joins two hoses together, water-tight, no leaks!
The Hozelock Metal Double Male Hose End Connector does what it says on the can - joins two hoses with female connectors together, water-tight, no leaks! I kinda trust that, never had a problem with leaking at connection points. I do like Hozelock kit, had stuff for at least 25 years now. The nylon connectors fail with age and don't like being dropped so worth the extra money for the well made metal parts. Will now last my life time rather than the connector's I suspect - possibly a poor measure as they're running out of candles for my cakes... Had to give 4 stars value for money 'cos Hozelock kit is expensive - the way to buy is a Full Kit offer - usually a bargain. You'll end up with a long hose and bits you maybe don't need but you'll save money on the ones you do! I cut my 25m hose in two which suited me perfectly at the time but I've now moved and need a connector. I Have kept my kit properly stored for that time - drained, out of light, in the dry - and the original tap connector, hose and spray-gun attachments, etc. are still working. It's just those hose ends but note that Hozelock has redesigned them and also the plastics used in manufacture today are probably different to those used just 5 years ago. I have at times abused my kit, left trailed across the concrete, full of water, in the blazing sun for days on end. To give Hozelock their due, they are putting a lot of effort into producing a plastic product that is durable - you can abuse it but do look after it and it will last. The debate on the leaching of microplastics into the environment when used in irrigation systems is ongoing...
