Tacopedia: The Taco Encyclopedia

The Taco Encyclopedia........ yes it is!
Excellent source for authentic taco and salsa recipes. So far I have tried quite a few and I'm yet to find one I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. Being authentic I did find a couple of ingredients hard to source in my town, but these can be found online. Also some of the recipes can be costly but that's not the books fault. Any one who eats out on a regular basis would be happy to pay the cost of ingredients I just found that being on low income they were hard to justify, I guess I just though street food would be cheap to make.

More an encyclopaedia than traditional recipe book but the design and illustrations are fantastic. Lots of tlc and effort put into this book with recipes from all over the world. I have already made many of the dishes and had lots of appreciative responses from diners! Always off the shelf and on the kitchen worktop discovering more and more ingredients and flavours as I go. Great buy.

Excellent book but recipes can be hard to find as the book really is an encyclopedia of all things taco. There are maps and photos and stories and amongst this lot are the recipes. Not a book for a novice cook but more for someone interested in Mexican cooking or the country.
