amazing book! Bad shipping!
The book is so good, the pictures are very high quality, and there are a lot of them! However, the shipping was very poor, the book was shipped directly in a paper envlope and it was dented all around potentially ruining the book.

A book for the veteran Street Fighter art enthusiasts
This is the collection I wanted for a long time.I absolutely love Capcom's artists and what they do with the Capcom's female cast. Each one is unique in their artstyle and loud with the visual portrayals of each character making them visually interesting every time despite the similar colour schemes and being the same character. It's an update of the SF20 so previous buyers will be retreading old ground on top of the exclusive pieces and interviews with the Capcom Artists.Fans of Udon's comics and various other ventures into the visual arts with the Capcom franchises will not be interested in this book as it is purely about the sketches, promotional images, manual illustrations, and designs of merchandise that support Capcom's world famous fighting franchise. This book is massive nearly competing with Udon's Art of Capcom Complete Edition but is not hardback supported like the latter. This volume is still pretty sturdy with thick paper and great colours. It's a bit devious releasing this update 5 years down the line like a video game sequel only to re-use half the assets of the previous issue.Hold the line for the speculated SF30 edition that could be in the works with hard binding and even more exclusives to build on this issue but if that doesn't happen then you won't go wrong with this SF25 as a fan of old school Street Fighter artwork.

Great book, but it's an update to SF20
The media could not be loaded. I'm a big fan of the Street Fighter games and art, so it is such a joy to hold this thick enormous artbook book in hand. However, the joy may be offset slightly if you have bought the earlier edition SF20: The Art of Street Fighter that was released in 2009. Five years have passed and now the 25th anniversary edition is out. This updated edition has 448 pages, that's 128 pages more than the SF20. Binding feels alright for a book this thick but I will still want to be careful though. Both are still paperback. The original edition for this book is actually the Japanese artbook ストリートファイターアートワークス 極. Udon has translated that to English which is great because there are commentary from the artists and several pages of interviews. Other differences would be the lack of dust jacket in SF25, and the use of slightly glossier ink. This is a wonderful collection of Street Fighter art featuring an incredible amount of artwork. You'll see a lot of character art from the various generations of the game. There are sketches, splash art, game poses, promotional art and more. I like the Street Fighter art for their dynamism. The illustrations are divided into chapters by artists, namely:あきまん (Akiman) | blog西村キヌ (Kinu Nishimura)CRMKイケノ (Daigo Ikeno)大ちゃん (Daichan)えだやん (Edayan)森気楼 (Shinkiro)ポリゴンーピクチュアズ (Polygon Pictures)A new chapter with art from Polygon Pictures is included. They are the ones who created the black ink splashy art for Super Street Fighter IV. Some of the works are featured in the art book Street Fighter IV & Super Street Fighter IV: Official Complete Works except they are printed smaller here. Many new artists and their works are also featured in the latter half of the book.Definitely worth the money. Highly recommended.(See more pictures of the book on my blog. Just visit my Amazon profile for the link.)
