Just like they were when I was a child
Our last 'real' sweet shop closed a couple of years ago to be replaced with a 'Candy Boutique' which sells small packets of rather poor quality sweets, mostly from the USA at very inflated prices.Being able to purchase the old fashions sweets by the kilo at a reasonable cost is a real bonus, they are good quality, just like they used to be when I was a child in the 40s and 50s, I have acquired some vintage sweet jars to keep them in and now have be own little sweet shop of my favourite treats.Excellent product and excellent service, next day delivery! The only difference is the sherbert now comes in tamper proof plastic tubes instead of paper wrap.

Really tasty
I make a lemon cake and put a sherbet fountain on top. Any I don't use for this, we just eat because they are delicious 😋

Package difficult.
Hard work just to get into it. Too much plastic. Liquorice not as good as in past. Like many things these days.

Good sherbet, bad liquorice
In short the sherbet is fine, but the liquorice is quite bad.Like chewing on a piece of old rubber tyre bad.

Yum
Still like years ago except it's plastic tubes not the cardboard they should go back to that better for taste and environment

Taste and texture is like they're nearly out of date and that's because they are.
Best before date only 4 months away compared to Tescos where it's 20 months away. Sherbert is clumpy and needs squishing and the liquorice is so hard it snapped in half. Even at half price at £3.50 for 10, that's still the same price as Tesco. Groceries from Amazon tend to be overpriced and suck.
