Perfect equipment to store under your desk and whip out for a lunch time workout
The thing that surprised me the most about training with this - is the level of increased intensity. Simple exercises, like press-ups and the plank, become much harder, once you add the instability element. Some of the variation exercises, like the single arm decline press and the super skater are extremely challenging.I have been able to halve my workout times and increase the muscular and fitness gains that had stagnated with my gym sessions. I also realised my core was not as strong as it needed to be and the Rooboard has been excellent for correcting this.Solid and weighty for its small size it is obviously built to last. The foam grip is fitted into the deck which compacts as you use it. This is much more comfortable on the hands and feet than other balance boards I have used before. This product does away with the unnecessary material in large round or square balance/wobble boards and works perfectl, with the body weight exercises that it was designed for. This really packs a lot of punch for its size and cost. I now store this under my desk at work for quick lunch time sessions.

Does what it claims to do, and does it well.
A really good and versatile tool. I think this could be very useful for people with foot, calf, shin and knee injuries, as it really challenges the balance and control and strengthens some muscles that can easily become deconditioned in a sedentary lifestyle. Also good for enhancing home workouts and improving core strength. My one complaint, and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that there isn't enough friction between the pads and the board - a knock can move the board off-centre which is an irritation if you are trying to do a circuit. Maybe if the board was rubberised / silicone on the base?All-in-all though, a very good product, and different to anything else I've seen out there.

One Star
Too small and not enough room, not impressed at all.

Good value for money
Versatile, but a bit too small.

Very happy and optimistic on the results
Have only tried the Rooboard a couple of times since it's arrival nut so far I am loving it. It's smaller than I anticipated so as it claims might be easier to take on journeys with you. Looks and feels durable. I thought that as a skater using my legs for balance work all the time that I would find this useful for extra workout off skates. So far I'm not wrong, I initially thought I would find the exercises on the easy side (Rooboard has it's own youtube channel for workouts/exercises both the company and guests have made which I love) but I do find them a little challenging. For starting balancing poses I use a little assistance from a wall/chair if needed. For me this is positive, it means with the Rooboard I have room to develop. Great news for me as I have hypermobile joints any strengthening and fine muscle control I can get is well recieved. So far the Rooboard has been a versatile product that lets me work on several targeted muscle groups i.e. Legs, core, arms and I can't wait to see some of the results coming through.

Without a wobble.
Well made and better than I expected. You can gain some excellent training programs and exercises through the Rooboard website or through Youtube. Very versatile and a valued additional to any work out. I also love the carry bag for taking the Rooboard where ever you like.

Travels well
This is a great size to store at home or take traveling. It comes with a pouch for storage. The advantage of the mousse type padding is that they do not glide across the floor like some which are wood. The contact is solid all the while allow for balance exercises. I have used it strictly for ankle strengthening however I watched the product videos on youtube and this is a full service workout. I do not like the kangaroo sticker logo and it can't be removed. It seems aggressive rather than a happy exercise thing. I am trying to deal with it by not looking =)

suitability for a child?
This item was bought for my 8 year old granddaughter who finds it difficult to use as it is quite unstable for her age.
