The best pre shave oil
This is the best stuff I have tried. Other pre shave oils I’ve used have been ok, but I’ve always been left with a nick or two. Using this and some Taylor’s shaving cream and I rarely have a problem. The scent is lovely too, very old fashioned. A proper scent, not like a teenager type scent which seems to be the fashion now.The oil is quite thick and it’s not that water soluble. I do get left with a slightly sticky sink sometimes, possibly I’m using too much. The downside is it’s expensive. You get a small bottle and £15 for something this size is expensive. But you also get what you pay for. Yes this will cost you more, but you’ll get a far nicer shave and a lovely scent. If you go cheaper you might get a bigger quantity, but you pay for that with more nicks and razor burn. The latter of which I have never experienced using Taylor’s.I can’t recommend it enough.

Taylor's - Say No More - Brilliant Stuff
I already use Taylor's shaving products for the old whiskers but have never needed this. I decided to give it a go as now 'needs must' I recently got one of those modern skin tight haircuts and figured a newly sensitive noggin would need some prepping before the Sabre rattling began, I was right heads are different to chins, a lot more sensitive. As I expected I'm well pleased, this stuff is easy to use, smells great, does what it says on the bottle plus some … don't overdo it though, it just needs a drop or two in dry hands then massaged well onto the face/head, I find heating my hands up in hot water aids the massaging tremendously … chucking gallons on will make for a slippy experience. The only thing that would make this product better would be it being available in bigger bottle, say 100ml for a better price … it is expensive compared to other brands.P.S. After trialing three other less expensive brands too, I now know why this is so well reviewed. I think this stuff is the best of them all, superb quality and results. It's not cheap, but it's above and beyond.

Thick, smells nice and adds to shaving experience rather than quality of shave
Very thick and oily, takes a bit of rubbing in to spread over the face. At first it gives out smells of citrus and lavender which are a bit strong and offensive to me. But, after about 30 minutes those desappear and warm scents of earth, leather and wood emerge which stay for hours and are very nice, calming and masculine. It does not add very much to the quality of shaving, but definitely adds to the whole experience and the this masculine smell fills the bathroom as you go which takes the experience and the whole ritual to another level. If you can afford the price, definitely worth trying.

more comfortable especially on the neck
I couldnt get on with this to start with, it left my hands oily and then the razor handle all greasy. After a few weeks though ive finally mastered it. It definatly makes for a smoother shave, more comfortable especially on the neck, it's quite thick, but you only need a very small amount. I use it if i have a few days growth and not every day. Id look for a thinner oil next time and not so thick. But a great product..

Smells great, but didn't work well for me.
I didn't get on with this product. It smelt incredible, but was very thick, and didn't allow the blade to move slickly. Also, it really should have a dropper, as when you try to pour a couple of drops it runs everywhere. The shaving soaps this company does are amazing, but I was dissatisfied with this oil. I'll still to proraso.

What angels would use if they shaved
This arrived very quickly after ordering and have just used it this evening. Wow, it really does make a difference, I use an Edwin Jagger DE87 and feather blades with super badge brush and Taylors sandalwood cream, the razor glided over my skin and the stubble was gone as if by magic, with the sharp blades and a good prep routine shaving rash and irritation is kept to a minimum if not eliminated completely. The oil smells really nice when warm and manipulated but not overpowering, the oil wasn't greasy at all and applies well,. Very rec

Worth a try for the price - strong scent.
I normally use Art of Shaving Sandalwood oil. This is a lot thinner than AOS and the smell is stronger. I feel that this was OK for the price however next time I will go back to paying almost double for AOS as I prefer the more subtle scent.
