Hi I dont think so. I fitted mine myself this part is where you unscrew the metal part the blade attaches, this part fits inside it is like fins on a fish, the part is delicate & needs replacing if your clippers make a strange noise or stop & start. I dont remember any wires I will have a look at mine later on
