Great product, good price
Fantastic, border collie loves it. Make sure you follow the instructions for getting your dog used to the machine. My collie is a nervous dog so it took four or five days using the machine before she was confident in bringing the ball to the machine. Slow and steady wins the race . Make sure you angle the machine so that the ball come out straight. Good clear instructions.

Just not worth the money
In my head my dogs would happily entertain themselves with this toy. But no. They're scared of the noise, and therefore don't want to get too close to drop their ball in

Excellent but noisy
This is a great aid to keeping your dog entertained until the owner exercises the dog properly, the reason for the 4 stars rather than 5 is the same problem a lot of people are having, its too loud, my dog thankfully is confident that I would not let anything happen to her and isn't scared of the machine as other dogs have been, but the noise is still a bit of a shock and I think with a little bit more thought and good application the noise could have been dampened very easily without pushing the cost up any more, it is a corner cut for what ever reason and if the dog owners are already paying the price of this thing then they are not going to worry about paying a fiver more for a spring damper or as I have used some rubber O rings, a simple fix that has taken the noise level down to almost nothing and not altered the distance the ball is launched at, noise aside though this really is a great product that does what its intended to do, that is to keep a restless dog entertained until the dogs normal exercise time, the ball is fired in roughly the same place every time so your dog wont be getting my exercise from chasing a ball round. but will not get board if they are ball obsessed like my dog is, to get an idea of the noise level what you can do is get a plastic washing up bowl and drop it on a hard floor from about waste height. if this scares your dog then it is either best to look for something else or think about how to dampen the noise down a bit. or risk upsetting the neighbours

worth every single penny
Now I am sure like me if you are looking at this item then you just love your dog. Then you look more carefully and realise just how much it costs. I did the same but took a leap of faith and bought it. Initially my dog was a little unsure of the noise but after about 15 minutes coaxing with dog treats he worked it out. He now can play on his own and simply loves this. He loves it so much that as soon as I finish work he goes up to the machine and barks in the hope that I will take it into the garden.Don't hang around, buy one, your dog will love it.

Great gadget but makes quite a noise when it's getting ...
Great gadget but makes quite a noise when it's getting ready to launch ball, and my dogs a bit wary of it. Definitely not an inside toy.

Not That great an experience...
Need a manual ball thrower and it describes this a manual, however it does not simply throw the ball but has to "wind up" itself and then emit the ball after some time which makes the process of reward useless. It is also very noisy both in the wind up process and the loud bang when emitting the ball. Not good for dogs who are sensitive to noise. And just to add injury, the returns process is horrid and takes you outside the Amazon portal for returns and onto the seller portal that asks you to pay for the return and then asks for 20 days to refund. Not quite how it's supposed to work is it?

Excellent aid for a high energy ball crazy dog
My Working Spaniel loves this, I bought this for when he visits my elderly parents. My dog is completely ball made, so this helps give my folks some free time from constantly playing fetch when they pet sit. The machine is a solid design and seems to be hard wearing. We love it 🐶😊. We do however limit his use of the machine, to ensure he does not get over worked after a full day of walks and socialising.

Don't Bother Buying!
I bought this item for my collie to keep him amused however, I am very disappointed with the GoDogGo automatic ball launcher. Yes the ball goes high however, doesn't go far as suggested on the videos so the dog just sits there and waits for the ball to land, no good for chasing the ball and having a good run. When changing the settings underneath the launcher, this makes no difference to the height or distance the ball is thrown. After spending a stupid £150 to find I can't return this, I am not very happy at all with it. I would definitely not recommend this item to anyone.I have found this a complete waste of money and will be throwing it in the bin!! Learn from my lesson - don't buy it!!
