It’s fine, I bought it as a protective strip for my bumper but I think a tailored or curved piece would be better suited as you would have to add multiple strips or leave A lot not covered, but I used it to run strips down the door frame so will be good to prevent scratches there. It’s very easy to cut, easy to fit and very adhesive

This is somewhat more difficult to apply correctly that at first meets the eye. The problem is not with the product but with the type of bumper to which it is applied. Rear bumpers are not quite as flat as shown on the picture, so that you will probably encounter curves and forms that are none too easy to cut perfectly to shape. For that reason it is a bit tricky to adapt to curves and stick down without wrinkles. Particularly vulnerable and difficult to cover is the leading edge. That said, I found that it had plenty of adhesion, and managed to get a passable job done. The tape is not all that thick, so I don't know how much wear it will take over the longer term, and whether the leading edge will stay stuck. It certainly covered the scratches on the bumper, but in the end I changed it for a purpose made stainless steel guard, which looks infinitely better, and should last indefinitely.

An excellent value protector and easy to apply. I purchased the protector to save the rear plastic bumper getting scratched by my canine friend getting in and out of my estate. It actually works very well indeed and when I eventually sell the car it will be easy to remove and have a perfect bumper!

I was dubious about purchasing this product after reading reviews saying that it shrinks after fitting, there are air bubbles you can't get rid of and that the glue comes off the strip with the backing tape. However, if you follow the fitting instructions to the letter this is a superb product that does the job perfectly. One tip! Take the time and trouble to cut the sill guard to the shape and contour of the bodywork and it will look factory fitted!

Do not waste your money. It doesn’t stick. Looks like seller had it in stock for a long time. Box wasn’t great and the product when opened had already started separating from its backing…….I’d give it 0 stars if I could!!

Well I've found this product to be ok considering the excellent price. It is however not the easiest of things to fit hence only 4 star's. You will need to clean your sill THOUROUGHLY before fitting using White spirit or similar and I recomend using a Hairdryer to warm sill first and then to warm strip once fitted, this will aid adhesion. It's very sticky stuff and gets air bubbles in very easily. If your after something for a "show" type car then this may not be for you, for just protecting your average car though I found it great other than awkward fitting. As already said the stuff does "shrink" a little which leaves the sticky tape showing a little which is why a say it's really just protection for the average car at a cheap price, if you want something "classier" then you will have to pay a lot more money for a different type of product.

Order via Amazon prime, it arrived next day as promised & was well packaged.This product is great!I had an old Ford Ka with door sills that had started to look a bit scruffy/scuffed/scratched and now they look really fresh & neat!I would recommend reading the instructions before fitment. I applied the sill guards on a particularly cold day, so followed the advice of heating the sills (after cleaning & drying them) and also heating the tape. I personally just used a fan heater but a hairdryer would be just as good.There was more than enough tape to do both sills (Ka doors are quite long), I used 80cm each side. Again read the instructions before fitting as it is important that you peel the tape off correctly so that the adhesive stays on the tape and not on the backing paper.Overall it took about 10 minutes, was really easy to do and gave a really nice finish!
