Not sure but mine is two years old and still in occasional use.

Can I use this on my beard?

I can't see why not. It's great for my hair but I'm female so haven't tried it on a beard. It colours bare patches and so camouflages them so they aren't noticed. I'd expect it to work on beards too but maybe you should contact the manufacturers to check if they've tested it on beards.
