I would think so, the box is insulated but if your vinyl is worth a lot to you then probably wouldn't shove them in a loft!

No, there's no key. There's a clasp catch on the front that secures the lid to the rest of the box. You flip the catch and turn it to release the clasp allowing the lid to open.

Hello Julie, I have just counted 68 (in one of my 3) comfortably (allowing you to flick through) and including original sleeves, plastic covers on both single and gatefold albums. Thoroughly recommended. Louise
