I was having serious issues on refitting the back of my son’s Fossil watch. I knew when I had removed it that is was so much tighter than usual, compared to any other watch that I had replaced the battery in. I tried many times and as it was such a tight fit I was never going to align it so precisely that I could get it back in. Therefore I bought this press and had the back on again in a matter of seconds. Fantastic value for money and well constructed enabling me to align up the watch and the back and to apply just enough force to snap the two pieces together again without the danger of damaging either part. Fantastic. That’s another gadget to add to my collection for any future problematic watch issues.

I took the back of my wife’s watch and replaced battery without a problem. The watch back simply pops out.However…. I struggled for 30 minutes trying to get the back on again and so I gave up and decided I’d have to take it to a jewellers.Then I spotted this on Amazon and have used it straight away on 3 watches - so it has already paid for itself.Popping the back on using this tool is effortless and literally took seconds. The range of sizes for the guides is excellent. Plenty to make sure you can protect the watch glass.I saw some reviews saying the handle might be flimsy, but it doesn’t feel weak at all. In fact the whole tool feels very well made.Very happy.

It worked well and saved a lot of frustration trying to replace the back of my watch after fitting a new battery. Loads of different adaptors for a range of different size watches. The thread on the top adaptor attachment was not very well cut, which made it difficult to screw on the adaptor. I will find a nut of the right thread to clean up the threads before I use it again as I am worried it will damage the brass thread inserts of the adaptors.

I was surprised about how solid this was for the price. I got this watch press as I've just started getting into watch repair and felt that maybe some instructions would have been good - youtube videos helped.

I had to return this due to a manufacturing defect. It might be a bit hard to see in my picture but 3 of the inserts (typically had to be the one I needed) had excess plastic in the brass screw inserts preventing me from screwing the discs into the tool. Aside from that, it looked very sturdy and should've done the job. Also some reviewers mentioned that the inserts had a sharp finish to them, I confirmed this on my kit too. For the price and a bit of initial work I think this is worth it if you can file the edges

Absolutely brilliant. After replacing a battery in my watch I could not get the watch cover back on. I stumbled on this tool while looking for ways to put it on on social media etc. I read reviews and thought I'd have it a go. Could not believe how quick this solved my problem. Literally 30seconds from unpacking and the job was done. Very easy to use and very pleased!!
