MOFRED® Black & Tan Apple iPad 9.7 inch 5th/ 6th Generation Executive Leather Case-Voted by "The Daily Telegraph" as #1 iPad Case! (iPad Models A1822, A1823, A1893, A1954)

I have started to use my iPad for running 1:1 and group training courses, and wanted a fully enclosed case to give the iPad more protection when out and about. I do have a keyboard iPad case as well, but never use this when training, so as I had 1 case already, I did not want to break the bank buying a second case.Brought this case and has hit the mark well. It is very cost effective and given the price point, the quality of construction is excellent. The camera slot, bottom power / speaker area, and side buttons are easily accessible / clear of obstruction with the case on the iPad. I run my IPad in fixed landscape mode with the finger button on the right, and using my thumb to press the button, there is just enough space to comfortably press the button and do fingerprint recognition for unlocking the device. Using it in portrait mode meant that due to the thickness of the case materials, it was not as comfortable pressing the button but still worked fine.I like simple solutions (less to break / wear out / go wrong!) and the 3 position angling steps, built into the inside of the case, work effectively and make doing 1:1 presentations very easy. I also use an external bluetooth speaker with this set up (Amazon product: JBL Go Ultra Portable Rechargeable Bluetooth Speaker with Aux-In Compatible - Black ) and the case helps make this set up look professional when replaying videos for feedback purposes.Time will tell on how durable the case will be, but initial indications show the stitching is very good, the materials used should not degrade too much over the life of the iPad, and has a nice "not going to wear out" feel to it. Does look professional when using it front of others.Only 2 minor negatives:1) the front pocket on the case is very thin so you can get no more than a few sheets of paper in it but as I try to be paperless, is no issue for me, but do not expect to be able to store much in it;2) It comes with a stylus but there is nowhere to store it in the case - however, as I do not use a stylus, this is not a problem for me, and has no impact on the actual usability of the case.So overall, is a very good case for ensuring my iPad is protected when out and about, and meets my needs fully. And given the price point, the quality is well above my expectations (especially when you compare it to the cost of Apple cases).Overall Verdict: Excellent product for the price point, that meets my needs fully. Hence the 5 star rating.

Ordered on Sunday pm, it arrived next day (I paid a little extra) and it fits my 6th gen iPad almost perfectly. If I had one tiny little critique, it could do with a pen/pencil holder so the Apple pencil had a home, but that is a minor thing. The iPad fits snuggly and feels secure inside. The 'frame' where the case wraps over the front of the iPad could be a tiny bit slimmer because when toggling between apps, you need small fingers to click the 'back to..' whichever app appearing in the top left hand corner of the screen. If I'm using the Apple pencil, it doesn't matter though. All in all this case is fantastic value; the synthetic leather has a grain stamped into it and feels good quality, and the contrast of black and tan is smart looking. Very much recommend this product.

5* for the value - this is a well-made, good-looking case for the latest iPad (2018). I bought it for a friend and he's more than pleased. It holds the iPad very securely and offers good protection in a classy-looking case. Unlike one or two others, we find that all aspects of the iPad work well while the case is being used, including the camera, finger-print recognition, and so on. The bottom speakers are very partially covered by the leatherette but work perfectly well.I've knocked off a star for the seller's deliberate misinformation - and thought of knocking off more since the case is not, as advertised, made from leather. It is made from plastic "leatherette", a form of polyurethane derived from oil. Nonetheless - it looks very good indeed and will likely prove durable enough. Amazon should prevent seller's from misrepresenting their products in this way since, if you are trying to reduce your plastic consumption, this case will not help. All that said - at the price, it's very good indeed.

I have three of these excellent leather Mofred cases, and can assure you they are as stated, beautifully crafted. All the holes for the different functions, line up correctly, the magnets that put your iPad to sleep when closing the cover, work perfectly, the stitching is faultless and a nice touch are the leather strips to hold the iPad open at three different angles. A lot of thought has obviously gone into the design of these gorgeous cases. I highly recommend them for their craftsmanship, value for money, and you get a lifetime guarantee with each case. I personally love my blue case best, the other two are Black. Buy one you won’t regret it.

I did some initial research for an inexpensive but quality case for my iPad and came across this product.My initial reaction upon receiving the case was to return it immediately; it came in a cheap plastic case which looked like it had done several rounds with Mike Tyson.After deciding to not judge a book/case by its cover/packaging I was pleasantly surprised upon closer examination. It looks great and that it would protect the iPad if I dropped it. The stand mechanism works really well. Pen is ok but doubt I will use it and I haven’t bothered with the inclusive screen protector.If you’re looking for a decent sturdy case for your iPad that won’t cost the earth then you could do worse than buying this.

It only arrived this week and I have used it only a day or two and already the cover is peeling off. I am going to return it but it is a real shame because I like the style and the pocket. I wish I could find one made out of real leather not this PU leather.
