I got this for my cakes strange i know but it does have several usesThis is smaller than i thought more like a mini steamer. its easy to use, fill it up plug it in and within about a minute or so you have steam. we tried this on a cloth that was creased and its hard to see in the video but it does work it got the creases out with ease.its light weight, easy to hold and comfortable to hold too.its a nice modern sleek design too.you can use 100ml of water in the tank. lightweight and portable so you can take it away with you for weekends ideal for getting creases out of many house hold items, pillow cases etc. You can steam the kids toys on your beds and mattress to clean it. its 100% save no chemicals just water steam.My use of this is to use on my cakes. as its only water when i have made and decorated a cake this is ideal to give the cake a shot of steam to get rid of white icing marks and make the cake shiny. its a great tip that us cakey people love! and this is perfect for it. although i havent used it for that yet but i cant wait to try it. but i like it so much for materials i may have to get another one for my cakes as i can find lots of house hold uses for this, creases in curtains, fabric place settings and table runners, hanging shirts and using it on them, school ties, little things that are hard to iron and some of my jumpers that are a chew to iron this will be ideal. lovely little device works effortlessly. top marks from me. very pleased with it.

I bought some new curtains and the creases were terrible once they were out of the package. Bought this in the hope it would improve the look (I tried hanging them first but still stubborn creases). The steamer is very light weight, and although some may see that as a disadvantage, it makes it easy to hold and use. Once plugged in with the water in the container it heats up very quickly. The steam lasts for about 8 minutes and the result was brilliant. My husband was very impressed. The cable is quite short so we are going to extend it (or you might need an extension lead) if you are using on curtains. This is so light I would have no hesitation in packing it if I was going away for a few days as any creases would be history!

I wanted a handheld steamer to be able to quickly 'iron' a few shirts, without having to get out the ironing board and iron. I have three little children and both the iron and ironing board are unsafe to use around them, so there is a lot of reluctant last-minute late-night ironing instead.Handheld steamers have been cropping up more often recently, and I liked the idea of them, but guessed that they would cost too much. Was surprised to see that they were cheaper than I was expecting, and at least cheap enough that if it wasn't great then it wouldn't be a big loss.I picked the Vivreal mainly due to its price point, and the belief that ultimately it's a kettle with a fancy spout, so there probably wouldn't be a great deal of difference between this and a more expensive (but similar looking) one.Now that it's arrived I'm pleased to say that I am happy with my choice! It is petite, easy to use, and heats up quickly. My first steaming experience was with a pair of creased curtains (see photos). It was amazing not to have to take them down! Worked very well, but I did have to re-fill the water chamber three times to fully steam the (rather long) curtains. Overall, I saved a heap of time and effort, and the outcome was great - the creases came out very quickly. Would definitely recommend, as well as being great for curtains, am sure it will be very effective for shirts and school uniform too.NB. This is a completely honest review, and these thoughts are all my own, but I plan to share this review with Vivreal in the hope of being sent some free washing powder!

I love this steamer. It seems to work better then large steamers I have brought in the past. It is so small and perfect for travelling with. It came in handy when we went abroad as our hotel in Japan did not provide a iron and only a presser which we were unsure about. This steamer is so quick and easy. It may be a little steamer but it is very powerful and irons out creases in a flash. When you turn the switch on, wait a minute or two until the water has boiled to use.I have recommended this product to my family and friends and they love. I use it whenever I go on holiday as it does not take a lot of space up in my luggage and I also use it at home whenever I am in a rush and too lazy to get the ironing board out!

Cons: It doesn't like being filled to the top- spills out hot water very quickly, so one of my items was soaked- so frequent refilling is required. Doesn't like it if you add anything other than water in it, it will spill it out - discovered that very quicklyPros - when it works, it does the job very well, heats up quickly, steam is quite powerful once in use. it is quite lightweight, however you do need a stand of some kind to steam the clothes. i did mine on the back of my door - which it did work but be careful with your fingers.

Good handy, compact clothes steamer. It’s vey small in size with long cord but also it generates continuous stream of good steam which is very useful when using t for big garmet.If I could compare this device to anything I would say that it’s a mini kettle and probably the mechanism is similar as you can hear boiling water when steaming clothes :)What I really like with this device is that steam is very big which allow to efficient “iron”clothes in no time. One thing which buyers need to be aware of and which are mentioned in previous reviews as a disadvantage is that when putting steamer to close to garmet it leaves water marks. Well it does when I was using it but I put to much water in. When water level drops down this problem is solved and there is no water marks left.
