Used this after a thorough pre-wash and contact wash. The paint work wasn’t too bad before but definitely noticed an improvement in slickness and feel. For heavy contamination I’d probably still opt for a clay bar but in regards to maintenance I’d say this is an effect and time saving tool! 10/10 for Excellent quality. 8/10 for effectiveness, 9/10 value for money, 10/10 for ease of use. 10/10 for product details/ application instructions

Quality and easy to use. Keep it watered and don’t run dry. The result is impressive and I’d say on par with traditional clay bar. Would highly recommend this clay alternative mitt.

While this clay mitt is easier to use than a clay bar, and a bit more forgiving should you drop it, because it can be washed off without it being rendered useless as a bar would. It does have one drawback that I've found, hence the 4 stars, and that's the occasional dark streak left behind. If you have a dark coloured vehicle, it might not be noticed so easily as on my light (Cyber) grey Kona, so be sure to check often, particularly around edges. The marks aren't difficult to remove, but it's an added annoyance, although using the mitt is easy more easier and faster than a traditional clay bar.I did find it easy enough to know when an area was 'done' enough, as one can feel & hear the slight bumps of tar, sap etc under the mitt.I'm not so sure of the mitts longevity, maybe 1-2 vehicles max, but it's worth using with the ease of use versus a clay bar. I think I'd still use a clay bar of my vehicle was much more valuable, so for us mere mortals with average cars, this G3 mitt is plenty good enough.The last few years I used Meguiars hybrid ceramic polishes etc, but now I've switched to the Turtlewax 🐢 Flex products with graphene, which give a superb finish, from pH neutral shampoo that can be also used in a foam cannon, and with a clay bar or this G3 clay mitt as a lubricant. The deep shine has been noticed by others, and the improved hydrophobic qualities are plain to see. Overall, a much cheaper option to get almost Pro detailing results with much less effort.

My car is only a year old but I wanted to clay the paintwork before polishing/waxing.I could feel light contamination on the surface before hand, but I felt a much smoother surface after using the mit.Not sure how it would work on heavy contamination but I am happy with the convenience and end result.

After using a clay bar for years, I decided to see what the fuss was about. These are great! So much easier to use than clay and offer a decent level of dirt removal. They won't remove scratches, quite the opposite if you haven't prepared your paintwork correctly, but no different to using clay. It's just far easy to use and rinse off. You will get more uses out of this too. It leaves a great clean finish, ready for the polishing stage.

I don't normally write reviews but on this occasion I feel this mitt warrants my opinion. This Mitt is brilliant, when you have dried the vehicle you could believe that you have polished the car. I highly recommend buying one, you won't regret it.

So much easier to use than traditional clay bar. Keep surface wet and "lubricated", I just used ph neutral foaming shampoo on an already cleaned car. Can feel the paint go "smooth" under light pressure as you work across the car. Just make sure to dry fully before packing it away
