Genuine product
Great to buy a genuine item directly from Moroccanoil as there are so many fakes about. I have used this product for many years and hope to buy it for many years more!

If you want soft, silky, beautifully smelling hair …. Look no further
I have been using Moroccan oil treatment for years and I believe it makes my hair softer, shinier and stronger, plus it makes it smell lovely.Only a few drops of oil are needed each use and the bottle comes complete with a pump that gives you a measured amount of oil. The oil can be used on wet or dry hair, but I use it on towel dry hair and as I have short hair I only require one pumps measure. I then rub the oil between the palms of my hands and apply it to my hair, then comb it through to ensure it is fully distributed. I then dry and style my hair as normal, the oil also offers heat protection from the dryer and any tongs/straighteners.If your hair is frizzy or flyaway the oil can be used on your dry hair, applying the oil just where required.Every week or so I give my hair an extra treat with their Restorative Hair Mask.A lot of the reviews comment on the price, okay it is expensive but it lasts for ages and I take advantage of Amazons Subscribe & Save, 15% discount is a good saving. The delivery date is not set in stone, it can easily be amended if I run out or find that I have too much.Highly recommended.

The absolute gold standard
I have used Moroccanoil Treatment on and off for probably about 10 years. Every time I buy it I'm amazed by how effective it is, then when I run out I convince myself I can find a cheaper oil elsewhere that'll do the same thing. I then cycle through dozens of products until I eventually find my way back to Moroccanoil, and then I repeat the process. I hereby declare that I will never turn my back on Moroccanoil ever again.I have very thick, coarse, low-porosity 2C/3A hair that has always felt like it's just destined to be dry as hell. I've honestly tried everything. I recently spent £60 on some products that were advertised to me on instagram and I was once again hugely disappointed by the results. Mousse, gel, cream, oil, leave-in conditioner, foam, spray, I've tried everything from drugstore brands to high end and nothing has worked for me the way Moroccanoil does. Yesterday I combined it with some Cantu coconut curling cream, diffuse dried, slept in a satin bonnet, and this morning my curls are defined, my hair is soft, and it looks so healthy. I'll never be frizz-free, I think I have to just accept that, but this is the best my hair has ever looked or felt. With the products I've been cycling through the past few months, I've needed to wash or refresh my hair at least every 2 days because it gets fluffy and dry, but with Moroccanoil my hair lasts for DAYS which is such a relief and ultimately so much better for my hair health. I had been looking into other shampoos and conditioners that would provide more moisture, but I don't think I'll have to switch those up now as I'm so happy with these results.I am making a vow to myself that I will not see another hair oil and think "well that's half the price, I bet this'll be just as good..." because it never is. £40~ for 100ml feels like a lot, but it's so worth it if I get to be friends with my hair rather than seeing it as a perpetual nuisance.

Not just hype, but may depend on hair type
I was interested to read the reviews below, as a lot of these products are just hype, and do not perform as anticipated once you buy them. I thought differences in outcomes might have something to do with hair type, and since none of the people who posted negative reviews said they had hair like mine, thought I might be one of the people this product would work for, so I bought this small sample size.Brief impression - it works! My hair looks smooth and lustrous, and the smell is gorgeous! To put it into context, so you can decide if the product might give you similar results: I have very fine hair, but there is a lot of it - ie, the individual strands are very fine, but there are lots of them, so it looks like my hair is thick. It's slightly wavy, but most of the wave is damped by the volume of hair. My hair is actually pretty shiny and healthy anyway, but my main problem is that it fuzzes up easily. This is a kind of fuzzy halo of unkempt looking hair that seems to sit on top of the otherwise straight/mildly wavy hair. I've tried all sorts of shampoos, conditioners and styling products, and nothing seems to work to get rid of it. As soon as I wash and dry my hair, there it is - it only subsides once my hair starts to get a little bit oily - by which time of course I want to wash it again, so... Even when I use straighteners, the tiniest bit of humidity will bring back the fuzz. So, this product - I used about a teaspoon (my hair comes about midway down my shoulder blades, and as I mentioned, there is a lot of it). I wasn't sure that would be enough, as it seems to get absorbed pretty quickly - but I didn't want to have an oily mess, like some reviewers have described, so thought I would stick with that.Result: a miracle - no fuzzy halo!!!! My hair looks smooth and wonderfully shiny, and not the least bit oily. This is the only time I have been able to get rid of that fuzzy halo, barring times when a) my hair is dirty (ugh) or b) I have just stepped out of a salon and had it professionally straightened, and walked out into a bone dry day with no humidity to frizz it up again. There is a caveat in that my hair was healthy and shiny before (ie, so if your hair is dry and damaged, you may not get this result), but without the fuzzy halo, the shine is even more apparent. So - if you have hair like mine (or like any of the other reviewers who have posted positive results) I would say definitely try this product - it is not just hype, it really works. It's very expensive, but a little goes a long way, and at the price you'd pay for the larger 100 ml size (more economical) I estimate it would last about 4 months, which would make the cost about 20p a day. Less than the cost of the electricity to power the blow-dryer I think, and better for your hair :)

Light oil that works a treat
Absolutely lovely. smells wonderful. Keep popping it in my ageing hair for some lightness. So glad I found this. Surprisingly light - there's no oil residue left on hands. Great for swimmer's hair. I was recommended this product by a swimmer, so passing it on,

Best yet
It is the best product that I have come across yet. It is not cheap but I consider it to be worth the money. It offers good control is not greasy and is easy to apply with the aid of a pump supplied.
