Bought to go with some pork and beans. Tasted good but a bit gritty. Everyone liked it and some had it with fruit and yoghurt as quite sweet.

Love jiffy cornbread mix so easy and quick. Cornbread is perfect every time.

I used this all the time when I lived in the USA and although it’s about 50p a box there, it’s that good that I’m willing to splurge on it here. Simple, basic but the best mix for corn muffins and corn bread.

Three stars, am sure in America their are those that swear this is brilliant and those that say make your own. Much like Yorkshire pudding whatever you were raised with is best.The instructions are clear but American standard cup, found that between 75ml and 100ml of milk will do, personal taste and style. Mixed and baked easy. However, perhaps due to personal bias I was expecting something more bread like bland . Instead was sweet, cloying even, when they say muffin they mean sweet muffin not muffin bread roll. Looked and tasted like sponge cake. I would suggest getting muffin paper cases or using a muffin tray if you have one.

Takes me back to my days in USA where I ate this nearly every day !!

I usually pick this up whenever I am in USA so I was very pleased to find it in time for our large family Thanksgiving get together.
