Q: Does this have a remote control override so parent can take over control of vehicle? parent

No, the car can still be run by the child while you are using the remote control. What I did was open the compartment on the bottom of the vehicle right under the acceleration pedal. Once you do that you can unplug the wires that go to the pedal and then put the cover back on. When the child is old enough to use it on their own, just plug the wires back in.

Q: Does this come with battery charger?

Santa hasn't opened the box or assembled the Ride yet. My experience in the past is yes it comes with a charger.

Q: Go well on grass? Tires all plastic?

Yes very good on the grass it has a pretty good speed to it and yes like a harden plastic type its a must have truck well worth it
