JBLSoundBar 2.1 Deep Bass MK2 Television Speaker for Home Entertainment Sound System, Sleek and Compact Design with JBL Surround Sound, Black

I got this to replace my old 5.1 system, I did not think it would be anywhere near as good but I did not want to spend a fortune this time around. WOW, once set-up properly this thing delivers. A full sound profile with a "surround sound" that actually immerses you in what you are doing/watching. I have been a long time fan of JBL products and once again they have impressed me. The set-up is easy and the sound quality is superb and the bass can, at times, actually be a little much. I never thought I would say that about a sound bar without a standalone subwoofer. I highly recommed this soundbar.

Very good for the price

This isn’t a soundbar for audiophiles or if you want amazing bass and surround sound. But it’s a decent practical upgrade to TV inbuilt speakers. It’s easy to set up and I also use it as a Bluetooth speaker for music from my phone. I think it’s pretty well-made.

It was a few weeks before the item came out of the box as we were decorating. When all ready the speaker was connected and I was happy with the sound and set up.Unfortunately the product was temperamental in the on/off button and also on the remote.It's now stopped working, out of return period and I have no audio.Obviously I can't recommend the product.Trying to get product support is a circular culdesac and so I can find a method to get repair.Seeing as I can't access any refund or repair the item gets 0 points and I can only recommend you stay clear of this purchase

I bought this to plug unto my TV as the built in speakers were doing a not so great job. The bass on this unit is good, however, the speech on a tv show is drowned by the bass and the dramatic music. It is likevthis with any tv show.On the instructions it says to press and hold the mute button for a few secs until the indicator light flashes, and once its flashed 3 times i can use the up volume button to change the sound..This doesnt work for me. I dont think it deserves other than 3 stars as the product works great as a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music. Just not for what i wanted it for, which was as a tv speaker to better listen to the dialogue on tv shows and movies.so im back to watching tv shows on my tablet where it sounds better.
