Candy Land Game

Traditional game that has evolved little....Every family needs one if you have little ones ready to learn how to... follow simple rules, cooperate and win/lose gracefully. Great little learning tool, as always.

Got this game from Amazon for under $5 and I cannot be more please. Yes, there are no cards and this game version is different from the Candyland I remembered but the graphics are beautiful and the game comes with a spinner. If this bothers you, you may want to look at the more expensive versions of the game: there are around 7 versions of this game. The board appears to be just like any other board in terms of quality. The spaces in the board are made for only one player and if a second players lands in an occupied space they need to move to the next space of the same color. Tip: add your own educational flash cards (letters, colors, sight words, shapes or numbers, addition facts, etc) and allow the kids to spin and move only if they know/ or once they have practice with you the card and you got yourself an educational game for under $5. Add dice inside a small clear plastic condiment container and let younger kids shake the container and race each other to the castle while they practice numbers.

When I first opened another version of this game, thought it would be cheap as it came with a spinner instead of cards. To my amazement, it was much easier for kids to play, searched til I found this version on amazon

Ok quality for the money but not overly sturdy.

The children love this game and the beautiful artwork on the box and board. Nicely done and vendor supplied item flawlessly. Recommended.

Just like you remember. Kids fighting, kids cheating, kids winning etc... at least they are happy

Purchased for my 5 year old son. Brings back some memories for me playing along side him. Came as advertised. Many hours of fun with this one.
